Casey Hall is a 2008 OF/SS/P with a 6'0'', 175 lb. frame from Channelview, TX who attends Channelview. Casey has an athletic frame, and has room to add size. He hits from a slightly open stance and strides to closed with a good bat path. He loads well and has bat speed. He is upright in the box, and has a high finish to his swing. Defensively he is aggressive to the ball, and does a good job getting behind it and coming through. His arm is a little short on the backside, but he makes strong accurate throws. His top velocity from the outfield during the workout was 80 mph. On the mound he is a 3-pitch guy who keeps the ball down and has an understanding of how to pitch. He has good command, and could really benefit from a couple slight adjustments in his mechanics. He falls offline at times. He had a top fastball velocity of 76 mph. Casey is a good student.
