Pat Dalton McIntyre is a 2008 C with a 5'11'', 195 lb. frame from Brenham, TX who attends Brenham. Pat Dalton works very hard behind the plate, and has good footwork and hands defensively. He blocks the ball well. He makes a good transfer and release, and his arm shows carry. He turned in a very good pop time at 1.91. He also showed solid velocity from the catching position with a top throw down to second at 72 mph. He has a great body for behind the plate with present strength throughout. He has a solid lower half and will be durable behind the plate. At the plate he shows bat speed, loads well, and uses a toe tap trigger with a lift and replace approach. He has tools at the plate and with a few slight adjustments projects to be a very good offensive catcher.
