Brett Anderson is a 2008 SS/3B from Bristol Eastern HS, residing in Bristol, Connecticut, with a 6'2"/170 pound frame. Brett has a lean and athletic frame. He hits from a slightly open stance with high hands. Anderson has good bat speed and quick hands. He has a line drive swing plane and will continue to get better as he continues to face better pitching. Brett has a very strong arm across the infield at 91 mph with great carry. He has soft hands with a quick transfer and solid range defensively. Anderson went on the mound as well. He has long arm action with good arm speed. He has an 84 mph fastball with arm side run and raw mechanics. Brett does not normally pitch but with a 91 mph arm across the infield it might not be a bad idea. He is a good student.
