Robby Reece is a 2010 1B/P/3B with a 6'2'', 200 lb. frame from Hartselle, AL who attends Hartselle HS. He has a big frame and good strength for his age. Reece hits from a tall stance with an upper body rotational swing. He uses very little lower half to help get the bat going. Reece has a long, level swing and makes his best contact when he keeps his hands short to the ball. His strength gives him some late bat speed and the ball comes off his bat well when he gets the bat head out. The key will be for Reece to work hard to shorten his swing and get his lower half involved. He's a 8.14 runner who is limited to first base defensively. Reece is a good student.
