Dee Gilmore is a 2009 RHP/OF with a 5'9'', 135 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn HS. He has a very slender build on a medium frame. Gilmore listed himself as a primary pitcher but only played outfield at the showcase. He ran 7.30 during drills and threw 76 mph with a long, loose arm action. His outfield actions were very raw. Offensively, Gilmore hits out of an open stance with his weight back and has an upper cut swing with limited lower body involvement in his swing. He has some hand speed, especially on fastballs early in the count. His arm action from the outfield looks well suited for pitching.
