Lyons is a 2005 LHP/1B from Canton, MA with a 6'1"/175 pound frame with wide shoulders. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short backside, good balance, and a smooth controlled delivery. His 82 mph fastball showed good tail and worked well with his 1-7 CB at 67 mph. He also showed a 72 mph change-up and a 68 mph slurve that he dropped down to throw. He has good command and control of all his pitches and he mixes speeds well. He showed good athleticism at first base and an aggressive swing at the plate. Good college lefty!
