Dakota Smith is a 2011 OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Leavenworth, KS who attends Lansing HS. Medium build, good present strength. 6.55 runner, good outfield actions, stays balanced at the ball, very good arm strength, has been low 90's off the mound before. Right handed hitter, nice hitting mechanics, stays balanced and directional, quick hands, extends out front, big power for his size, lots of present bat speed. Real good player! Top level athlete, should keep improving. Good student.
