Grant Ringenberg is a 6'3", 180 lb. right handed pitcher from Apex, North Carolina, with a tall, slender pitcher's build. He throws from an extended 3/4 arm slot with good extension out in front. Grant showed an 82-84 mph fastball, 64 mph curveball, 68 mph change up, and a 71-73 mph split finger. His fastball gets good hard boring action at times, and his split finger fastball flashed good action also. His curveball showed solid depth and tight spin. Grant has a high leg kick and slight back lean in his delivery. Ringenberg has a projectable body and his velocity should continue to improve as he continues to mature physically, and make minor adjustments. He has a chance to be very good at the next level and he's a good student.

Grant Ringenberg -- Ringenberg is a lanky 6-2 junior right hander from North Carolina with a very projectable body. He has nice tempo and smoothness to his delivery and develops good arm speed, so it’s really just a matter of time and maturation before Ringenberg throws harder. He was 78-81 mph in Fort Myers with good action down in the zone. Ringenberg’s breaking ball was a big breaking 64-65 mph curveball that had some deception to it. He also threw a change up that had some fade to it at 73-75 mph. Grant is a good student.
