Justin Silvestro is a 2012 3B/1B, RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Waltham, MA who attends Boston College. Good build with strength. Good tools at 3B with strong hands a quick release and arm strength. Open, upright stance at the plate. Deep load with a balanced approach and solid bat speed. Line drive plane with good contact skills to the middle of the field. Lots of potential on the mound. Quick arm, throws from low 3/4 slot. Has deception and good presence on the mound. Stays balanced and repeats arm action. Fastball had heavy life down in zone. Very good feel for slider with sweeping 10/4 break. Also shows curveball with more vertical tilt. Changeup has good fade and run. Good student.
