Johnny Lingo is a 2007 right handed pitcher, thidr baseman, outfielder, and first baseman that attends St. Stephens Episcopal High School and resides in Myakka City, Florida. He has a 6'1", 194 pound frame that is strong and athletic. Johnny pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. He gets a lot out of his body and shows good life on his fastball at 78-80 mph. His curveball was a solid pitch with 10/4 rotation at 70 mph while his change up was at 70 mph. Lingo hits with a line drive swing plane and has good strength in his swing. His swing has some easy lift in it as well. In the field, he showed very good arm strength both in the outfield and infield. He threw 83 mph from the outfield and 80 mph across the infield. His defensive actions are very clean and solid overall with good upside. Johnny is a solid athlete who can play all over the field as well as pitch.
