Gavin Patton is a 2010 OF with a 6'1'', 200 lb. frame from South Charleston, WV who attends Pendleton School. Mature athletic build, very good strength. Balanced stance, fast rotational swing, good bat speed with strong hands at contact, ball jumps off bat hard, showed ability to handle plus velo FB's, lifted ball in BP but more line drive plane in games. 6.84 runner. Shows good arm strength, enough speed/range to cover ground, excellent corner OF tools. Needs to be followed. Good student.
