Stephen Boghos is a 2008 RHP/2B from Austin Prep, residing in Wakefield, Massachusetts, with a 5'11"/175 pound frame. Stephen has an athletic frame. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action and good command. Boghos has some effort in his delivery. He has a straight fastball at 80 mph and a solid 11-5 curveball at 66 mph. His changeup has sink and fade at 71 mph and he keeps hitters off balance. Stephen hits from a narrow and upright stance. He has solid hands and a line drive approach. Boghos uses the whole field and he stays inside the ball well. His swing gets long and he does cast at times. Stephen is a solid baserunner. He has an overhand release across the infield with an accurate arm at 75 mph. Boghos has good range and good reactions defensively but needs to improve his arm atrength. He is an excellent student.
