Spencer Frazier is a 2009 MIF with a 5'8'', 145 lb. frame from Capitola, CA who attends Soquel HS. He has a small athletic build that will fill out and develop into a compact middle infielder type of body. Frazier is a good baseball player and the stronger he gets the better he will be. He showed good instincts on defense to go with good hands and a quick release. His arm is accurate. Frazier showed some indications of a baseball clock so keep an eye on him. Offensively he showed a pretty quick bat, a nice hand path and is a good contact hitter. He uses the whole field and is the type of hitter who can help make an offense go. Being an impact bat will not be Frazier's role. He is simply an excellent student and a well rounded ballplayer with good skill level and some feel for the game.
PG Grade 7.0
