Frank Phillips is a 2005 catcher/right handed pitcher from Reno, Nevada, with an good frame and lean build that has lots of room for added muscle in the future. Phillips is competitive, and has the versatility to play many positions. Behind the plate he shows quality pop times (1.96) with good agility and soft hands to handle any pitching staff. Phillips also knows his way around the bag at first base. On the mound, he has a fluid delivery with a low 3/4 arm slot. He has a good arm and is tough on right handed hitters. Offensively, he stands tall in the box with a solid base and good balance. Phillips, aswitch hitter shows the ability to center the ball, and when strength does come, he should have no trouble generating some big offensive numbers at the next level.

Frank is a 2005 grad from Reno Nevada and has a medium frame and strong compact build. Physical looking and has room to add more muscle in future. Good durable catchers body that is athletic enough to play other positions as well. He shows a comfortable set up behind the plate, agile and flexible to move side to side. Good quiet target for pitchers and showed good transfers to pop times ( 2.04 to 2.26) . Stays low and slowly comes out of crouch on throws. Hustler and shows you he loves to play and that he has been schooled on where and what to do on the field. Strong bat, gets a little long on occasion in the back but generates solid contact to all fields and good pitch recognition. Quality player that should not have any trouble playing at the next level.
