Dylan Shupe is a 2010 C/IF/P with a 5'10'', 185 lb. frame from Delmar, DE who attends Delmar. Dylan has a strong athletic build with good present strength. At the plate Dylan has a very aggressive hitting approach with good bat speed and the ability to stay inside the ball. He has good present strength in his swing and nice raw power for his age. In the infield Dylan really gets after the ball with good footwork and a solid release. He shows solid catching tools and is a good receiver. Dylan has a solid release and will just need for his arm to get a little stronger. On the mound Dylan has a short compact arm action with a good downhill plane on his pitches. He uses his lower half well in his delivery and has a tight 12 to 6 curveball and a nice feel for his change-up. Dylan is a strong student that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
