Justin Todar is a 2008 C/OF/3B with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Haslet, TX who attends Northwest. Justin has an good athletic frame with broad shoulder and present strength in his upper half. He is a good defensive catcher who works hard and moves well behind the plate. He is a good blocker and receiver with soft hands and a quick transfer. He gets rid of the ball quickly and is on the bag with his throws. He has some arm strength behind the plate and flashes carry. At the plate he hits from a slightly open stance with loose and relaxed hands. He has a contact approach and he protects the plate well. He shows bat speed and will use the whole field with gap level power potential. He has usable speed and is a smart baserunner. Justin is also a good student.
