Tyson Moll is a 2008 C/IF/OF with a 5'11'', 200 lb. frame from Bountiful, Utah, who attends Judge Memorial HS. Moll has a stocky frame with present strength in his body. Defensively he has solid arm strength with a quick release. He also has position flexibility being able to catch and play the outfield. Behind the dish he receives well. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a closed stance with a wider base. He uses a simple approach with a high back elbow, and he uses a little leg lift trigger with no stride. Moll shows bat speed through the hitting zone. He stays balanced through his swing, and at times he gets leverage showing projectable power. Moll hit a double to left field in game action. His hands work, and he stays inside the ball. He is a good student as well.
