Richard Morris is a 2008 LHP/OF from Marlboro HS, residing in Milton, Massachusetts, with a 5'10"/180 pound frame. Richard has a solid frame. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with long arm action. Morris has a solid delivery with some effort and he needs to repeat it more consistently. His fastball has sink and run at 82 mph. He has a good curveball at 65 mph and a changeup with fade at 74 mph. Richard fields the position well and needs to use his offspeed stuff more. He hits from a straight and upright stance with very high hands. Morris has solid hands and a line drive swing plane. He makes consistent contact at the plate and needs to be smoother with his swing. He has long arm action from the outfield with a solid arm at 85 mph. He has solid carry on his throws and solid reactions to the ball. Richard needs to be more consistent in the outfield. He is a good student.
