2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Adam Henne is a 2009 MIF/OF/P with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Oak Hill, VA who attends Oakton. Adam has a lean athletic build that projects to add some strength. At the plate Adam has good raw hitting tools with quick hands and the ability to hit the ball to any field. He has a level plane, but will sometimes roll over the ball. Adam will need to work on improving his leverage and keeping his weight back longer. In the field Adam is very polished defensively. He has clean actions with good footwork and solid arm strength in the outfield. In the infield Adam was the best prospect at the event. He shows plus infield actions with good carry on his throws and a quick release. On the mound Adam has a low effort delivery and throws with a short compact arm action from a high 3/4 arm slot. He has a clean delivery and uses his lower half well, while showing feel for a solid slurve. Adam is a good student that should attract the attention of many mid-level college programs.
