2004 Underclass National Showcase
Eric Allegree -- Allegree is a junior catcher with a medium framed body that’s strong in the lower half and more slender up top. Allegree hits from a narrow straight up stance and opens up during his swing looking to pull the ball. He generates good bat speed and showed us the ability to make consistent solid contact and the ball jumps off his bat. Allegree’s arm is average but his release was quick and his pop times very respectable in workouts and in games. He is a good student and has a good feel for the catching position.
