2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Jonathan Dip is a 2009 C with a 5'9'', 152 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Lee Davis. Jonathan has a lean build with a good amount of room to fill out and add strength. At the plate Jonathan has solid hitting mechanics where he has a line-drive swing plane and good strength for his size. He shows the ability to stay inside the ball some and shows some opposite field pop. Behind the plate Jonathan has solid footwork with a good release on his throws. He is a solid student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
