Mark Mason is a 2009 RHP/1B from Meadville Area HS, residing in Meadville, Pennsylvania, with a 6'6"/185 pound frame. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long arm action. Mason has a high leg kick and an online delivery with some effort. Mark has a straight fastball at 80 mph. He throws an 11-5 curveball for strikes at 65 mph and mixes in a 65 mph changeup. Mason hits from a very open stance and closes well. He has solid hands and makes consistent contact. He will pull off at times and needs to get better extension through the ball.
