Jordan Shockley is a 2009 RHP/IF with a 6'0'', 160 lb. frame from Woolford, MD who attends Cambridge South Dorchester. Jordan has an athletic build with some room to add strength. On the mound Jordan throws with a long loose arm action that produces good armside run. He works very quick on the mound and shows feel for a solid straight change-up and a 10 to 4 curveball. Jordan does not get a whole lot out of his lower half and could add a lot of velocity if he polished up his mechanics. At the plate Jordan shows the ability to stay inside the ball and ha some nice opposite field pop. He really just needs to add some strength to really see the ball take off. In the field Jordan shows his best tools at third base. He has clean actions with good footwork and soft hands. Jordan is a solid student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
