Tyler Rahier is a 2011 C/IF with a 6'1'', 165 lb. frame from San Bernardino, CA who attends Cajon. Rahier has a medium plus frame with a lean build. Defensively, Rahier has developing receiving skills with average transfers. He stabs at the ball a bit receiving and can quiet his hands down to receive better. He is a young catcher with plenty of time to develop his defensive tools. At the plate, Rahier starts with a slightly open stance and a deep hand load. He takes a long stride to the baseball and maintains good balance through his swing. Rahier uses an arm bar in his swing and gets some extension out front. He takes his hands to the baseball well and has a solid swing. He makes solid line drive contact and has good hitting tools.
