Dylan Swift is a 2007 C/3B/1B from Princeton Community HS, residing in Princeton, Indiana, with a solid 5'11"/180 pound frame. Dylan has a good set up at the plate and gets the barrel to the ball well. He makes consistent middle of the field contact and has good power. Swift has a quick release from behind the plate with a good 1.94 pop time. He has a good transfer with solid defensive skills. Swift is a good student.

Swift is a 5-11 right handed hitting sophomore catcher from Indiana. We see Swift frequently during the year and he’s doing a very good job of developing his overall strength. He did a good job at the showcase of receiving the ball behind the plate and showed nice one spot quickness. Swift’s arm strength is still developing but he had some quickness in his release which kept his throw times down around 2.1. With the bat, Swift has a high leg kick trigger to start his swing. Swift has the time and will have the strength to become a solid offensive player in the future. He comes from a baseball family and has a great attitude on the field and good knowledge of the game. Swift is also a strong student.

Dylan Swift -- Swift was one of the very youngest players in Ft Myers. His tools are far from being developed at this time, but he can play. He's a catcher who seems to have a good feel for the game. Right now his best tool is the bat. He showed a good swing plane and tracking ability. He does a nice job of going with the pitch and using all fields. As he gets older he may hit with some power. Dylan is a good student. His overall tools and his grade will go up as he gets older. He's only a freshman and we know he will get outstanding coaching.
