Barrett is a strong bodied guy with some very interesting tools. MLB infield arm and MLB running speed. He's an aggressive hitter who creates good bat speed. He's going to hit at the next level. He threw a consistent 85-86 from the mound in Ft Myers. His 70 mph curveball was a good rotating 12-6 with lots of promise. Barrett lists himself as a 2B and he would sure standout at that position. His arm would play at shortstop for most DIs. Good looking player who could develop into a nice draft pick out of college. At some schools he should be considered a 2-way guy. He's has the ability to be a key player in the right college program. He simply does a lot of things real well. He's a perfect utility type, but he's too good to label a utility player.
