2005 Unsigned Seniors Showcase
Hunter is a well built 6-2, 205 athlete who plays catcher, third base and pitches. He did not participate in the workout or batting practice parts of the showcase so it is difficult to judge his raw tools. Hunter had a couple of good base hits in the games and has the strength to become a good hitter. His infield actions at third base were very playable. Hunter also threw a bit in relief in Fort Myers, touching 79 mph with his fastball and throwing a 67 mph curveball from a slow, deliberate delivery. He is a switch hitter with power from both sides. He needs to be looked at closely.
