In the Championship game today, Team California Warriors were on a mission to win the game 5-0 over West Coast Mariners to get the championship. Damien Rinehart (Kofa, Watsonville, CA 2017) and Trevin Esquerra (Patrick Henry, San Diego, CA 2016) were the hot hitters for Team California Warriors. Rinehart went 1-2 for the game with an RBI and a walk. Esquerra went 1-2 for the game with scoring one run and had one walk. Tim Tawa (West Linn, West Linn, OR 2017) was the other hot hitter for West Coast Mariners. He went 1-3 for the game.

Damien Rinehart was the ace pitcher on the mound today for Team California Warriors. He tossed seven innings worth while giving up two hits, walking three and striking out nine. Kyler McMahan (Lynnwood, Lynnwood, WA 2017) was other pitcher for West Coast Mariners. He tossed three innings worth while giving up four hits, two runs, walking one and striking out two for the game. McMahan fastball range for the game was 82-85 mph.

Dirtbags Rally, Tie 5-5 With Gamers

The Dirtbags and the St. Louis Gamers battled to a 5-5 tie in six innings after the Dirtbags knocked in all five of their runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Gamers struck first with a run in the third and four runs in the fourth to take a commanding lead, but couldn't hold onto the win in the final inning. 

The Dirtbag offense logged seven hits from six different players with Bryson Worrell (2017, James Hunt HS, SC) leading the way. Worrell finished perfect at the plate, going 2-2 with a game-high two RBIs and a triple. Daniel Reed (2017, Edwardsville HS, IL) sparked the Gamer offense to five hits from four different players, going 2-3 at the plate with a run scored. 

Team California Warriors Walks Off to Finals

A ninth-inning run scored by Sam Wezniak (2017, Sage Creek HS, CA) on an error sent Team California Warriors to the championship game with a 4-3 victory over Evoshield Canes on Wednesday.

Runs were driven in for the Warriors by Kevin Avila (2017, Kofa HS, AZ) and Trevin Esquerra (2016, Patrick Henry HS, CA), and Wezniak led the team with two runs scored. Damien Rinehart (2017, Kofa HS, CA) supplied a pair of singles, while Esquerra had the team’s only extra-base hit, a double, in the victory.

Wezniak fired the final five innings for the Warriors, allowing just one hit to pick up the win. He struck out six hitters, and his fastball topped out at 84 mph.

Virginia Tech commit Mikey Polansky (2017, Hickory HS, VA) led the Canes with two runs batted in, and Randy Bednar (2017, Landon HS, MD) added one batted in. The team’s two hits were a Ashton McGee (2017, Charles B. Aycock HS, NC) single and a Brandon Dorsey (2017, Calvert Hall College HS, MD) triple, while the team’s runs were scored by North Carolina commit McGee, Noah Cook (2017, Westover Christian Academy, VA), and Will Sprinkle (2017, Reagan HS, NC).

West Coast Mariners Rally, Walk Off to Finals

West Coast Mariners rallied from a 2-0 deficit through five innings, and a walk-off single from Ryan Hansen (2017, Rocky Mountain HS, ID) sent the Mariners to the championship game with a 3-2 victory over Chet Lemon’s Juice on Wednesday.

Kyler McMahan (2017, Lynnwood HS, WA) led the run production for the Mariners with two runs batted in. The team’s three runs were scored by Tim Tawa (2017, West Linn HS, OR), Isaiah Smith (2017, Battle Ground HS, WA), and Jake Dukart (2018, Lake Oswego HS, OR). Also adding one hit was Shane McGuire (2017, Kentwood HS, WA), Ryan Ober (2017, Glacier Peak HS, WA), and Pacen Hayes (2017, Blackfoot HS, ID) in the win.

Trevor Wells (2016, West Linn HS, OR) tossed a complete game for the Mariners, allowing one earned run on four hits. He struck out six hitters, and his fastball topped out at 87 mph.

The two Juice runs were driven in by Rafael Libunao (2017, Trinity Catholic HS, FL) and Frank Niemann (2017, Lake Mary HS, FL), while scoring the two runs were Jimmy Nealy (2016, Deland HS, FL) and DeAndre Shelton (2017, Apopka HS, FL). Libunao led the team with two hits, with Shelton and Blake Young (2017, Father Lopez HS, FL) each providing one hit in the losing effort.

Team California Warriors shutout Elite Squad Baseball, 3-0.

Jack Melton (2016, Mt. Carmel HS, CA) pitched a complete game for the Warriors, giving up just three hits while striking out nine.  He showed good control around the plate with all of his pitches, and had a fastball that topped out at 82 mph, and mixed in a handful of curveballs and a good changeup for his off-speed pitches.

At the plate, Kevin Avila (2017, Kofa HS, CA) went 2-2 with two singles and one RBI.  Joseph Ortiz (2016, Pacifica HS, CA) went 1-2 with a single and one two runs scored, and Christian Mendez (2017, Santana HS, CA) went 1-3 with a single and one RBI in the game.

For Elite Squad, Manuel Angel Rodriguez (2017, Monsignor Edward Pace HS, FL) and Kevin Rodriguez (2017, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL) each went 1-2 with a single a piece, and Anthony Boix (2017, Monsignor Edward Pace HS, FL) contributed with a double.

Graham Hoffman (2017, Calvary Christian HS, FL) provided a 1-2 performance, with a single and one RBI in the game.  Lyon Richardson (2018, Jensen Beach HS, FL) went 1-2 with a single, and John Chiaramonte (2016, Calvary Christian HS, FL) went 1-1 with a single.  On the mound, Richardson also pitched four innings of work, giving up three hits and struck out five, while utilizing a fastball that peaked at 85 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

The West Coast Mariners edged runs throughout the game, as they went on to defeat T-Rex Baseball Club, 4-2.

Shane McGuire (2017, Kentwood HS, WA) led the way going 2-3 with two doubles.  Ryan Hansen (2017, Rocky Mountain HS, ID) went 1-2 with a double and two RBIs.  Derek Lohr (2017, Bothell HS, WA) and Jake Dukart (2018, Lake Oswego Senior HS, OR) each went 1-3 with a double and one run scored a piece in the game.

Drew Santana (2017, Hazen Senior HS, WA) pitched a complete game, giving up one earned run on six hits and struck out eight, in seven innings of work.  He had a good fastball that topped out at 82 mph and showed good control on both sides of the plate.

For T-Rex, Connor McCord (2016, Corona Del Sol HS, AZ) went 1-2 with a single, one run and one RBI, and Andrew Swift (2017, Hamilton HS, AZ) contributed with a double and one run scored.


Late Runs Lift Canes past Scorpions 3-2

The Evoshield Canes grabbed one run in the fifth and two more in the bottom of the seventh to grab the victory over the Orlando Scorpions, 3-2.

Ashton McGee (2017, Charles B. Aycock HS, NC) a UNC commit, led the way, going 2-3 with two doubles and one run scored.  Noah Liles (2017, West Johnston HS, NC) also went 2-3 with a double and a single in the game.  Brandon Dorsey (2017, Calvert Hall College, MD) contributed with a double and two RBIs as well.

On the mound, Michael Crosson (2017, Hickory HS, VA) and Evan Pickell (2016, South Columbus HS, NC) combined to give up seven hits and just one earned run.  Both showed a good fastball that topped out at 85 mph.

For the Scorpions, Greg Lewandoski (2017, Deland HS, FL) went 1-3 with a single, one run and one RBI.  Kyle Macalindong (2017, F.W. Buchholz HS, FL) went 2-3 with a double, single, and one RBI in the game.

Hunter McMullen (2017, Forest HS, FL) pitched a complete game for Chet Lemon's, giving up just five hits in seven innings of work, and struck out five.  He had a good mound presence with a smooth delivery, and a fastball that topped out at 88 mph.

In a game of little offense where only five total hits were produced, the Evoshield Canes and the T-Rex Baseball Club ended in a 0-0 tie.

For the Canes, Randy Bednar (2017, Landon HS, MD) and Brandon Dorsey (2017, Calvert Hall College, MD) contributed with a single a piece.  On the mound, Landon Marceaux (2018, Destrehan HS, LA) pitched a complete game, giving up three hits while striking out eight.  He showed good composure on the mound, and threw strikes well, while utilizing a fastball that peaked at 86 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

For T-Rex, Connor McCord (2016, Corona Del Sol HS, AZ), Donovan McMullen (2016, Shadow Mountain HS, AZ), and Andrew Swift (2017, Hamilton HS, AZ) all had a single in the game.  Joseph Montenegro (2017, Jesuit College Prep, TX) pitched a complete game, giving up two hits, and struck out nine, while displaying a fastball that topped out at 87 mph.  He showed good command on both sides of the plate with all of his pitches.

The West Coast Mariners grabbed three late runs to take the lead, and go on to defeat, the Tri-State Arsenal, 6-4.

Ryan Ober (2017, Glacier Peak HS, WA) went 1-2 for the Mariners, with a single and one RBI.  Luke Norvell (2017, Stadium HS, WA) went 1-1 with a single, two runs and one RBI in the game.  Isaiah Smith (2017, Battle Ground HS, WA) went 1-2 as well with a single and one run at the plate.

On the mound, Jake Storment (2017, Putnam HS, OR) pitched three innings of work, giving up one earned run on two hits and struck out five, while showing good command, and being around the plate with a fastball that topped out at 81 mph.

For the Arsenal, Tyler Juhl (2017, Caravel Academy, DE) led the way going 2-2 with a double, single, and one RBI, and Davis Schneider (2017, Eastern HS, NJ) went 1-3 with a double, and two RBIs in the game.

Collin Moore (2017, Manatee HS, FL) led the Burn offense, going 2-3 with two singles, two runs and two RBIs in the game.  Paul Coumoulos (2017, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, FL) also went 2-3, with two singles, one run and one RBI.  Jordan Butler (2017, Undecided, FL) a Florida commit, finished 2-3 at the plate, with a double, single, and one run scored.

Butler also pitched five complete innings of work, giving up just three hits, and struck out ten total.  He was around the plate with all of his pitches and threw strikes well, while displaying a fastball that topped out at 89 mph.

Georgia Jackets rallied from an early 7-0 deficit, storming back to claim a 10-7 victory over Dirtbags in Fort Myers on Tuesday.

Lee Kay (2017, Heard County HS, GA) and Will Lumpkin (2016, Handley HS, AL) led the comeback for the Jackets, as both players drove in a pair of runs for the Jackets. Lumpkin also added two doubles and two runs scored. Chaney Rogers (2017, Gordon Lee HS, GA) and Kale Ledford (2017, George Walton Academy, GA) recorded two singles and two runs scored apiece in the victory.

Blake James (2016, Atholton HS, MD) earned the win for the Jackets in his one inning on the mound. He struck out one hitter, and his fastball topped out at 79 mph.

Sean McLaughlin (2017, West Carteret HS, NC) drove in two runs, scored another two, and clubbed a double for the Dirtbags. Jacob Brown (2017, Northeast Guilford HS, NC) added two singles and a double with a run batted in, while North Carolina commit Austin Beck (2017, North Davidson HS, NC) scored two runs and drove in another in the loss.

Elite Squad Baseball Rallies, Walks Off

Elite Squad Baseball rallied from a 5-0 deficit, getting a walk-off double from Anthony Boix (2017, Monsignor Pace HS, FL) to claim a 6-5 victory over Houston Banditos Black in Fort Myers on Tuesday.

Boix and Alexander Hernandez (2017, Flanagan HS, FL) each drove in two runs to lead the offense for Elite Squad. Boix also doubled twice, while Justin Connell (2017, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) added a pair of singles. Anthony Leary (2017, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) and David Vazquez (2017, Flanagan HS, FL) also drove in one run in the victory.

Jordan Schulefand (2017, Pine Crest HS, FL) tossed one inning for Elite Squad, and picked up the win. He allowed one hit, and his fastball topped out at 83 mph.

Leo Perez (2017, La Joya Palmview HS, TX) drove in two runs with two hits, including a double, and a run scored. Blake Faecher (2017, Cy-Fair HS, TX) and Auburn commit Tucker Bradley (2016, Gordon Lee HS, GA) each recorded two hits, including a triple for Faecher and a double for Bradley. Landon Miner (2016, Bryan HS, TX) also added a triple, a run scored, and a run batted in.

Orlando Scorpions Never Trail, Win 5-1

Orlando Scorpions never trailed in the game, claiming a 5-1 victory over Xtreme Baseball Navy in Fort Myers on Tuesday.

Evan Johnson (2017, Suwannee HS, FL) doubled and drove in three runs to lead the Scorpions offense, while William Walter (2017, Spruce Creek HS, FL) added a single and a run batted in. Graham Dvorak (2017, The First Academy, FL) led the team with two hits and two runs scored, while Logan Nugent (2017, Trinity Christian Academy, FL) supplied a double in the win.

Bayden Root (2018, Kokomo HS, IN) tossed 5.1 scoreless innings for the Scorpions, allowing three hits in the win. His fastball topped out at 82 mph.

The lone Xtreme run was driven in by Tyler Lala (2017, Tampa Catholic HS, FL) and scored by Jack Mora (2016, Fort Myers HS, FL), both of whom recorded a single. Jordan Lala (2018, Tampa Catholic HS, FL), Giovany Lorenzo (2017, Cypress Lake HS, FL), and Andrew Jones (2016, Sarasota HS, FL) also added one hit each in the loss.

Big Inning Powers St. Louis Gamers to Victory

A six-run fourth inning provided the difference for St. Louis Gamers, who claimed an 8-4 victory over MBA Pride Elite in Fort Myers on Tuesday.

Mark Vierling (2017, Christian Brothers College HS, MO) and Daniel Reed (2017, Edwardsville HS, IL) each drove in two runs to lead the Gamers at the plate. Tyler Ehrlich (2017, Francis Howell HS, MO) added two runs scored, while Bryce Butler (2016, Wentzville Holt HS, MO), Weston Schad (2017, Westminster Christian Academy, MO), Ben Maurer (2017, Waterloo HS, IL), and Kade Burns (2017, Edwardsville HS, IL) each drove in one run in the victory.

Jack Riney (2017, Lafayette HS, MO) allowed just three hits over his two innings on the mound, and struck out one hitter.

Alec Sanchez (2018, Providence School, FL) led the Pride offense with two hits and two runs batted in. Alabama State commit MJ Melendez (2017, St. James HS, AL) added a run batted in, while Logan Allen (2017, University HS, FL) and Robert Turon (2017, Gulliver Schools, FL) each recorded two hits in the loss.

Bennett, Pride Push Past Canes 4-1

The MBA Pride Elite got a standout game at the plate from McCray Bennett (2016, Providence HS, FL) as they pushed past the Evoshield Canes 4-1 to grab their first win of the tournament. Bennett led the Pride offense to ten team hits from six different players with a perfect game at the plate, going 2-2 with a game-high two RBIs, a run scored, a hit by pitch and two doubles. 

Altoon Coleman (2017, Winter Springs HS, FL) took home the win for the Pride for a complete game thrown, tossing 102 pitches in seven innings of work on the mound and allowing three hits and one unearned run while walking three and striking out nine. Coleman showed outstanding arm speed, sound mechanics and a smooth, online delivery, working fast and attacking hitters with a four-pitch rotation featuring a good depth 11/5 or 1/7 curveball and a fastball averaging 88 mph and topping out at 92 mph. 

Late Burst Gives Scorpions 6-3 Win

The Orlando Scorpions used a late push to take the win 6-3 over the Tri-State Arsenal, putting up three runs in the sixth inning and one in the seventh to push into the lead. The Scorpion offense logged six hits from four different players with Paul Russell (2017, Winter Park HS, FL) leading the way. Russell had a perfect game at the plate, finishing 2-2 with an RBI. 

Tyler Jones (2017, Lake Mary HS, FL) took home the win for the Scorpions for closing out the final three innings on the mound. Jones tossed 39 pitches and held the Arsenal offense hitless and scoreless while walking one and striking out two with a fastball averaging 78 mph and topping out at 80 mph. 

Banditos Survive Jackets 7-5

The Houston Banditos Black survived a late stretch from the Georgia Jackets and needed all five of the runs they scored in the second inning to take a 7-5 victory to move into a tie for second in the Pool A standings. Both offenses showed their fireworks as they put up 11 hits apiece. 

Eight different players logged a total of 11 hits for the Banditos as Zach Austin (2016, Holy Cross HS, LA) led the way. Austin finished perfect at the plate, going 2-2 and picking up two RBIs, a run scored, a walk and a double as Samuel Hicks (2016, Oak Ridge HS, TX) turned his one hit in for a solo home run. Lawson Hill (2017, Kings Ridge Christian HS, GA) and Cole Shelton (2017, Dalton HS, GA) sparked the Jackets offense with his own perfect game at the plate, finishing 3-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored with a double play on defense as Shelton added in his own 3-3 game with an RBI, two runs scored with two doubles and a double play on defense. 

Landon Miner (2016, Bryan HS, TX) picked up the win for the Bandito bullpen of four different pitchers after tossing the first four innings of the game. Milner tossed 74 pitches and allowed six hits and two runs, one earned, while walking two and striking out four with a fastball averaging 83 mph and topping out at 86 mph. 

Miller, Juice Power Past Elite Squad

The Chet Lemon's Juice got a standout game from hurler Jimmy Miller (2018, Villages Charter HS, FL) as they shutout the Elite Squad Baseball and took the win 5-0, putting up three runs in the third inning and holding the Elite offense to only one hit. Miller stood tall on the mound, tossing 75 pitches in seven innings on the mound and allowed one hit and no runs or walks while striking out six and logging a strike on 68 percent of his pitches. 

Miller couldn't do it all, and the Juice offenses responded to the strong game on the mound with an equally strong game at the plate, knocking in nine hits from seven different players as Jaret Mathis (2016, Deland HS, FL) led the way. Mathis finished 2-3 at the plate with a run scored and a double as Jacob Bowen (2016, Deltona HS, FL) turned his one hit into two RBIs a run scored and a double.

T-Rex Baseball Club hang on against Xtreme Baseball Navy, 5-3. Scott Mehan (Cactus Shadows, Scottsdale, AZ 2017) racked up two RBIs on two hits for T-Rex Baseball Club. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings. Christian Proffitt (Ida Baker, Cape Coral, FL 2017) had a hot bat for Xtreme Baseball Navy. He went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run with a single in the third inning and double in the sixth inning.

Mitchell Allen (Boulder Creek, Phoenix, AZ 2016) was a workhorse on the mound while securing the victory. He allowed no earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out two over seven innings of work. Daniel Simons (Avon Park, Avon Park, FL 2017) ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision with getting the loss. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs. Simons fastball range for the game was 78-81 mph. Allen fastball range for the game was 83-87 mph.

He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning. Daniel Reed (Edwardsville, Edwardsville, IL 2017) racked up three RBIs on one hit for St. Louis Gamers. He doubled in the first inning.

Michael Spellacy (Battle Ground, Battle Ground, WA 2017) put together a nice outing. St. Louis Gamers managed just three hits off of the West Coast Mariners' pitcher. Dirtbags tops Elite Baseball Training Chicago in back-and-forth affair, 3-2. Tyler Mettetal (Saint Charles North, South Elgin, IL 2017) was the hot hitter for the Elite Baseball Training Chicago. He went 2-3 for the game with scoring one run. Logan Crabtree (Northwood, Pittsboro, NC 2017) was the hot hitter for Dirtbags. He went 1-2 for the game with scoring one run.

Chase Chandler (North Surry, Mount Airy, NC 2017) recorded the win for Dirtbags. He pitched three shutout innings with striking out none, walked none and gave up one hit. Dan Vos (Southwest Chicago Chrsitian Sc, Orland Park, IL 2017) ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision with getting the loss. Early lead not enough for Florida Burn, drop 2-1 decision to Team California Warriors. Joseph Ortiz (Pacifica, Garden Grove, CA 2016) had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra base hits. He doubled in the first and fourth innings. Graham Hoffman (Calvery Christian, Clearwater, FL 2017) was the other hot hitter for Florida Burn. He went 1-3 for the game and one RBI.

Jonathan Worley (High Tech, San Diego, CA 2016) racked up six strikeouts in the Team California Warriors win. He allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk over seven innings. Three-run third enough for T-Rex Baseball

T-Rex Baseball Club grabbed three runs in the third, and held off a rally by MBA Pride Elite, to get the 3-2 win.

Andrew Swift (2017, Hamilton HS, AZ) went 1-3 at the plate, with a single and one run scored.  Connor McCord (2016, Corona Del Sol HS, AZ) contributed with a double, and two RBIs and finished 1-3 at the plate.  Christian Cuffari (2016, Horizon HS, AZ) went 1-2 in the game, with a single and one run as well.

McCord also pitched a complete game for T-Rex, giving up one earned run on eight hits and struck out five.  He had a fastball that topped out at 83 mph, and mixed in a few curveballs and changeups for his off-speed pitches.

For the Pride Elite, Donnie Gleneski (2016, Bishop Kenny HS, FL) went 2-3 with two singles, one run, and one RBI in the game.  Matt Schroer (2017, Arcadia HS, AZ) contributed with a double to the offense.

The Evoshield Canes defeated the West Coast Mariners, 8-3.

Brandon Dorsey (2017, Calvert Hall College, MD) led the way, going 2-4 with a double, single, two runs, and one RBI in the game.  Randy Bednar (2017, Landon HS, MD) contributed by going 1-2 with a triple, and two runs scored.  Sean McQuillan (2017, Green Hope HS, NC) went 1-2 as well, with a single and two RBIs.

Colin Peluse (2016, Middletown HS, DE) a Wake Forest commit, pitched 4.1 innings of work, giving up three earned runs on six hits, and struck out five in the game.  He showed good command with a fastball that topped out at 87 mph, and mixed in a good curveball, and a good changeup for his off-speed pitches.

For the Mariners, Shane McGuire (2017, Kentwood HS, WA) sparked the offense, going 2-3 with a double and a single in the contest.  Tim Tawa (2017, West Linn HS, OR) also contributed with a single and one RBI in the game.

The Georgia Jackets edged by the Elite Squad Baseball, 2-1, thanks to a last inning run that sealed the victory.

Kaleb Ledford (2017, George Walton Academy, GA) led the way, going a perfect 2-2 with two doubles, and one run scored in the game.  Andrew Cash (2016, Flomaton HS, AL) also went 2-2 with two singles, and Javier Valdes (2016, John A. Ferguson HS, FL) a Miami commit, went 1-2 with a single and one run scored as well.

Chaney Rogers (2017, Gordon Lee HS, GA) pitched five innings of work, giving up one earned run on four hits, and struck out five.  He showed good command on both sides of the plate, and had a fastball that topped out at 85 mph.  Tanner Burns (2017, Decatur HS, AL) also made an appearance on the mound, going two innings, and he too showed great command, with throwing strikes, and had a fastball that topped out at 88 mph.

For the Elite Squad, Anthony Boix (2017, Monsignor Edward Pace, FL) went 2-3 with a double, single and one run scored.  Justin Connell (2017, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) contributed by going a perfect 2-2 with two singles and one RBI in the game.

DeAndre Shelton (2017, Apopka HS, FL) went 2-3 at the plate, with two singles, and one run scored in the game.  Rafael Libunao (2017, Trinity Catholic HS, FL) also went 2-3 with two singles and one run as well.  Daniel Reyes (2017, West Orange HS, FL) pitched complete game, giving up four hits and struck out two, while showing a good fastball that peaked at 82 mph, in seven innings of work.

For the Warriors, Damien Rinehart (2017, Cofa HS, CA) went a perfect 2-2 at the plate, with two singles, and Christian Mendez (2017, Santana HS, CA) went 1-3 with a single as well.

Florida Burn, who did not record a hit, scored a run in the bottom of the sixth and final inning to force a 2-2 tie with Dirtbags on Sunday in Fort Myers.

The Burn runs were driven in by Lyon Richardson (2018, Jensen Beach HS, FL) and Graham Hoffman (2017, Calvary Christian School, FL), while scoring the runs were Florida commit Jordan Butler (2017, Tampa, FL) and Brady McConnell (2017, St. Andrew’s School, FL).

Oakley Albinson (2017, Indian Rocks Christian School, FL) slammed the door for the Burn, working 1.1 perfect innings with two strikeouts. His fastball topped out at 81 mph.

The Dirtbags’ runs were both driven in by Jackson Striplin (2017, Glenn HS, NC), who scored Bryson Worrell (2017, James Hunt HS, NC) twice. Worrell, Striplin, and Jacob Brown (2017, Northeast Guilford HS, NC) provided the hits in the tie.

Brown and Chase Chandler (2017, North Surry HS, NC) combined on the rare no-hitter tie. Brown struck out nine hitters over 5.1 innings, allowing one earned and one unearned run. His fastball topped out at 87 mph. Chandler recorded two outs, and his fastball peaked at 84 mph.

Houston Banditos Black rallied to score the final five runs of the game and claim a 7-5 victory over Elite Baseball Training Chicago in Fort Myers on Sunday.

Blake Faecher (2017, Cy-Fair HS, TX) led the offense for the Banditos with two hits, a run batted in, and a run scored. One run each was batted in by Zach Autin (2016, Holy Cross HS, LA), Jaxx Groshans (2016, Magnolia HS, TX), Tyler Hicks (2016, Oak Ridge HS, TX), Hayden Evans (2017, Cypress Ranch HS, TX), and Nicholas Northcut (2018, William Mason HS, OH) in the come-from-behind victory.

Orlando Scorpions scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, rallying for a 3-2 victory over St. Louis Gamers in Fort Myers on Sunday.

Robert Bell (2017, Father Lopez HS, FL) provided a run batted in for the Scorpions, while the team’s three runs were scored by Michael Spears (2017, Orangewood Christian School, FL) and Brady Smith (2017, Niceville HS, FL), who scored two runs. Smith and Spears also had two hits each in the victory.

William Saxton (2017, Lake Highland Preparatory School, FL) allowed one earned run over four innings, and earned the win for the Scorpions. He struck out three, and his fastball topped out at 79 mph.

The two Gamers runs were driven in by Weston Schad (2017, Westminster Christian Academy, MO) and Mark Vierling (2017, Christian Brothers College HS, MO), and scoring the runs were Bryce Butler (2016, Wentzville Holt HS, MO) and Harry Hegeman (2017, Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School, MO). Elite Squad Baseball scored in each of the first five innings, and allowed just three hits in a 8-1 victory over Florida Burn on Saturday in Fort Myers.

Anthony Boix (2017, Monsignor Pace HS, FL) and Justin Connell (2017, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) drove in two runs each to lead the production for Elite Squad. The two players each had two hits, including a double. David Vazquez (2017, Flanagan HS, FL) added two singles, while Anthony Leary (2017, Archbishop McCarthy HS, FL) scored two runs in the win.

Xtreme Baseball Navy scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh, forcing a 5-5 tie with St. Louis Gamers Saturday in Fort Myers.

Andrew Jones (2016, Sarasota HS, FL) and Reynolds Sheltra (2017, Treasure Coast HS, FL) led the offensive efforts for Xtreme Baseball, driving in two runs apiece. Giovany Lorenzo (2017, Cypress Lake HS, FL) added one run batted in, while Trevor Cramer (2016, Bishop Verot HS, FL) clubbed a pair of singles. Tyler Shuck (2017, Canterbury School, FL) led the scoring, crossing home twice.

Christian Menendez (2016, Bishop Verot HS, FL) worked five innings for Xtreme Baseball, striking out five hitters. His fastball topped out at 81 mph.

The Gamers were also led by a pair of players that drove in two runs — Mark Vierling (2017, Christian Brothers College HS, MO) and Kade Burns (2017, Edwardsville HS, IL). Bryce Butler (2016, Wentzville Holt HS, MO) added one run batted in, and Vierling led the team with two hits.
