The summer baseball circuit has shifted gears since last week's WWBA17U Championships in Marietta, Ga.
Players competed in the WWBA17U tournament with wooden bats. However, things have changed this week as several players committed to Division I programs are competing in the annual PG BCS 17U tournament in Fort Meyers, Fla., which unlike the WWBA format, uses the BBCOR bat.
Tuesday's action at the PG BCS17U was filled with excitement, and here's an inside look at how several commitments performed.
Excel Blue Wave 9, Action Baseball Club 17U Green 2
* Auburn 2013 commit, 3B Daniel Robert, had a nice game at the plate in the Blue Wave's victory. He went 2-for-3 with a double, home run, three runs scored and two RBIs.
