Wisdom led the Alaska League in homers in each of his two seasons with the Kenai Peninsula Oilers, even though he played in one of the most-difficult hitting environments in summer baseball. Kenai’s Coral Seymour Memorial Park sits just a quarter-mile from the Pacific Ocean, with the wind routinely blowing in at a steady gale from left field when the tide rolls in.
