COLLEGE BASEBALL TICKET: Cal State Fullerton lands 2014 in-state star

It's never too early to dissect some of the teams considered to be on the postseason bubble as the final month of the season nears.

Maryland is one of many in need of a strong finish this spring.

The Terrapins made a strong statement to start the season with a road series win over UCLA. They also went to the East Carolina tournament and took care of business before going into a lull once Atlantic Coast Conference play began.

Well, the Terps finally rose to the occasion last weekend, earning a huge home series win over a very solid N.C. State club.

As a result, the Terps have improved their ACC record, but still have much work to do with just a 5-10 league mark. Ironically, Maryland has a very solid RPI and a resume that's almost on par with some of the teams we had in this week's PG NCAA postseason projections.

We take an inside look at those teams on the good and bad side of the bubble.
