Note: We have found through experience that pitching velocities at the Pitcher/Catcher Indoor Showcase are typically 1-2 mph less than a pitcher throws during the non-winter months under more normal outdoor conditions.

RHP Alec Rash (2012/ADM HS, Adel, IA): The 6-5/190 Rash is an excellent basketball player and probably isn’t in ideal pitching shape but no one did more to help their prospect status this weekend than he did. He pitched at 91-93 mph, with more 93s than 91s and was consistently down in the zone with excellent life at times. Rash is caught between a curveball and slider now but showed he could both spin the ball and has some feel for a change up. (Signed: Missouri)
