Florida
Our final Florida Regional Rankings have three state champions at the top. Archbishop McCarthy, winner of the 4A State Title top the list, followed by 3A champ Bishop Verot, and 5A champion West Boca. 4A runner-up Tampa Jesuit is 4th; with 6A champion Alonso coming in 5th.
One new addition is made this week with 2A champ North Florida Christian at #14. The Eagles upset Orangewood Christian to win the title, Orangewood drops to #7 in the rankings, preceded by Flanagan, ahead of preseason National #1 Gulliver Prep.

Great Plains
Just two states are still in season, with Iowa’s summer season still young and Minnesota entering the state tournament this week. Maize (KS) has secured the top ranking in the region with an undefeated season and a 6A state championship. Francis Howell (MO) cemented the 2nd spot by winning Missiouri’s 4A title, and Regis Jesuit (CO) locked up the 5A Colorado state title for the #3 spot.
Previously undefeated and #2 ranked Maple Grove (MN) lost their first game of the season in district tournament play, but bounced back to win the district from the loser’s bracket and will look to climb from their current #6 ranking by winning a Minnesota AAA state championship. They currently sit behind Nebraska state champion Papillion-LaVista South and Kansas 5A champ Shawnee Heights.
The new addition this week is Southeast Polk (IA) who climbs into the 25th spot after Hill-Murray (MN) fell out (previously #13) and the idle teams that had been ranked behind them each slid up a spot.

Mid-Atlantic
The final Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings have some changes as North Carolina and Virginia finished up their seasons. State champs St. James (SC), Holly Springs (NC), and Great Bridge (VA) sit in the top three spots.
South County (VA) who lost their first game of the year to Great Bridge in the title game slide down to #4 and South Carolina AAAA champ Sumter comes in at #5. Other champions in the rankings are North Carolina AAA champ South Point (#7), Virginia Group AA champ Northside (#13), Maryland 4A champ Westminster (#14), Maryland 3A champ Bennett (#15), and North Carolina NCISAA 3A champ Forsyth Country Day (#18), and Deleware champ Caravel (#25).
New additions this week are Great Bridge (VA), Northside (VA), and Battlefield (VA).

Midwest
Cathedral (IN) is back in the top spot as it gets set to take on #5 Fort Wayne Carroll (IN) in the 4A championship game Saturday. Lyons Township, winners of the Illinois 4A championship are #2, runners-up Providence Catholic (IL) drop to #4. Ohio Division 1 champ Lakota East sits at #4.
Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky will have their titles decided by this weekend. #11 St. Xavier (KY) will take on #17 Warren East in quarterfinal action Wednesday, and another pair of ranked teams face off in Indiana as #22 Crawfordsville and #23 Mishawaka Marian battle in the 3A title game.
New additions are Illinois 3A champion Kaneland (#13), IL 3A runner up Oak Forest (14), Rockford (MI) comes in at 19, Prospect (IL) makes their debut at #21, and Terre Haute South (IN) comes in at #25.

Northeast
Two New York teams man the top spots as their seasons came to an end. Poly Prep Country Day ended the season undefeated and tops the rankings. They also have the distinction of handing PSAL champ George Washington their only loss on the season.
Gloucester Catholic won the New Jersey Non-Public Group B championship and come in at #3,they are followed by another New Jersey school, Don Bosco Prep.
#5 Conestoga (PA) is new to the rankings and is preparing to take on another new addition, #9 Spring-Ford in the PIAA AAAA title game.
#6 Manalapan (NJ) is a new champion, winner of the Group 4 title, as are #7 Xaverian (NY), winners of the CHSAA championship, #13 St. Augustine Prep, champs of New Jersey Non-Public Group A, #14 Seneca, champs of New Jersey Division 3, and #15 Haverford School, winners of the Pennsylvanai Inter-Academic League.
Other new additions are Northern York (PA) at #17, Westfield (NJ) at #20.

Northwest
The season concluded with the Oregon state championship games last week. Westview (OR) held onto the top ranking in the region by knocking off Central Catholic 6-3 in the 6A state title game. Mount Si, Bothell and Shorewood give Washington three of the top five rankings with Oregon 5A champion Sherwood filling the 5th spot.
Oregon 4A champion Astoria moves into the top ten, coming in at #10. 6A runner up Central Catholic ends its skid at #9 while 5A runner up Wilsonville falls to #13.
The final Northwestern top 25 features 14 teams from Washington, 10 from Oregon and Idaho state champion Eagle (#20).

Pacific
Bishop Amat knocked off Palm Desert to claim the Southern Section Division IV championship and maintain its #1 ranking in the final edition of the Pacific Top 25. The Lancers began the year ranked #5 in the nation before stumbling to a 1-2 start, but they finished very strong and lived up to the lofty preseason expectations. Central Coast champion Buchanan comes in at #2.
The surprise story of the year has to be #5 JW North, who after serving as a doormat in the Big VIII League the past two seasons and opened this year unranked in any preseason polls, came from nowhere to go 27-7 and win the CIF Southern Section Division I championship. San Diego Section champions occupy the #4, 6 and 10 spots with Cathedral Catholic, Rancho Bernardo and Helix respectively.
New additions to the final rankings include: Southern Section Division III champion Beckman (#19) and LA Section Division I champions San Fernando (#20).

Southeast
The final Southeast Regional Rankings have state champions in the top four, and seven out of the first eight spots. Georgia AAAA champ Marist tops the ranks, followed by Georgia AAA champ Columbus, and Farragut (TN) winner of four straight TSSAA title. Louisiana 6A Champ New Orleans Jesuit is #4.
Baton Rouge Catholic (LA) is the only non-champion in the top eight, coming in at #5, and are followed by Sumrall, winners of four straight Mississippi AAA title, Georgia AAAAA champion Parkview, and Alabama 6A winner Huntsville.

Southwest
The Southwest region concluded its 2011 season with the state championship games being played in Utah. Top ranked Spanish Fork clinched the final #1 ranking by capturing their third consecutive state championship with relative ease. The Dons held onto the top spot for the entire season in spite of stiff competition from fellow national powerhouse Bishop Gorman (NV), who the Dons beat in the Big League Dugout Championship game 3-2 on March 31st.
4A Utah champion Bingham moved up to #11 and 3A champion Juan Diego finishes at #23. Nevada 3A champion Churchill County moved into the spot vacated by previously ranked Snow Canyon (UT) to finish at #24.

Texahoma
This region saw perhaps the biggest shakeup in the nation as Texas concluded its state tournament this week. The top two spots remained the finalists from Oklahoma 6A (Broken Arrow, Owasso) while Brazoswood moves up to #3 in the region after claiming the Texas 5A state championship at Dell Diamond on Saturday. WF Rider moves in just behind them at #4 after knocking off Brenham and then Calallen in the 4A semi-finals and championship game. Brenham and Calallen come in just behind 5A runner-up CC Carroll at #6 and #7 respectively, giving class 4A a strong presence in the top 10 (3 teams).
TAPPS 5A champion St. Thomas Catholic held steady at #8, as did John Paul II at #18, they are joined by a third private school league team, St. Pius X who re-enters the final regional top 25 at #21 after seeing a successful season come to a disappointing end.
New additions to the final ranking include Oklahoma 4A champion Locust Grove (#24) and Texas 3A champion Kennedale (#25).
