Oregon State simply couldn’t be having a better campaign.

The Beavers experienced plenty of success in non-conference play, but have caught everyone’s attention with a strong showing in Pac-10 play.

The Beavers’ impressive showings in conference reached a climax over the weekend when they hit the road and took two of three from UCLA with talented left-handed pitcher Josh Osich tossing a no-hitter against the Bruins.

OSU is 32-9 overall, 12-3 in the Pac-10, and was one of the big winners last week. There also were plenty of losers, such as USC, which went 0-4 and got swept on the road by Arizona over the weekend.

We take an inside look at college baseball’s weekly winners and losers.
