Trey Williams commits to Pepperdine.

Published: Wednesday, January 19, 2011

Trey Williams, the nation's 3rd-ranked player in the Class of 2012 has verbally committed to Pepperdine.  It’s all about the bat with Williams and he certainly has one of the nation’s best.  Along with JR OF Nick Williams, Trey is considered one of the consensus top two bats for the 2012 high school class.  Williams has an extremely quick bat with very good present strength in his swing.  Both his hitting ability and raw power grade out as above average tools and he is one of the nation’s top bats regardless of age.  Defensively, Williams has clean actions and a strong arm that is well suited for third base.  Williams is considered the highest-ranked recruit ever to commit to Pepperdine.
