SE Qualifier No.2 Set This Weekend

MARIETTA, Ga. – One of the final berths in the WWBA World Championship will be determined at the PG Jupiter Southeast Qualifier No.2 this weekend in Georgia.

Thirty-nine teams will compete in the SE Qualifier No.2, with the winner earning an automatic spot in the WWBA World Championship to be held Oct. 21-25 in Jupiter, Fla.

The SE Qualifier No.2 begins Friday and will end Sunday afternoon, with the championship game set for 2 p.m. Sunday on East Cobb Field #2. The 39 teams have been divided into 13 pools, with all teams playing two pool games.

The top 16 teams will advance to the playoffs on Saturday. The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals are all scheduled for Sunday.

The East Cobb baseball program has 12 teams in the tournament.
