It’s a bit misguided to imply that the Great Lakes League was so backed up in talent in 2008 that a first-round pick in this year’s draft didn’t warrant being ranked any higher than the 19th-best prospect overall. Six-foot-5 Kennesaw State righthander Chad Jenkins, who pitched for Lima, was largely lost in the shuffle in the Great Lakes League a year ago, and yet became a first-round pick (20th overall) of the Toronto Blue Ja
