GAINESVILLE, FL- University of Southern Mississippi pulled it off by sweeping the Florida Gators in two straight to advance to the College World Series.  The Golden Eagles won 7-6 on Sunday in a second nail-biter that could have gone either way.

The scouts did get to see UF righthanded closer Billy Bullock who is expected to be the highest draft pick of the players in this particular Super Regional.  He’s a junior who’d been an inconsistent starter his first two years at UF but has gotten early-round interest from scouts since moving to the closer role this spring.
