One of the premier power hitters in the 2019 class, Hinds is a favorite to win the home run challenge at the Classic after finishing second at MLB’s high school home run derby as part of the All-Star Game festivities in Washington D.C. Hinds is a 6-foot-4 righthanded hitter with long arms and outstanding raw bat speed, and he hit .494-13-53 as a junior at Niceville High School. He has transferred to IMG Academy for his senior year of high school, and in addition to his offensive prowess, also has 98 mph arm strength across the infield.
