The first prospect from the Dominican Republic to participate in the Perfect Game All-American Classic presented by Rawlings, the 15-year old Perez is also the youngest ever and won’t be eligible to sign under International signing rules until July 2, 2013. Considered the top Dominican pitching prospect in recent years, the long and loose Perez already tops out at 93 mph with his fastball and projects to add plenty more velocity as he gets older and stronger.
