He was a standout freshman catcher on Long Beach Wilson High School in 2012 and played for Team USA internationally the summer afterwards. He has continued to prove himself as one of the top power hitting catchers in the class ever since and his selection to the PG All-American Classic is the culmination of one of the more decorated prep careers in the entire class. His two standout tools are his lefthanded power and his arm strength.
