2008 Northeast All Star Games

Perfect Game Northeast has announced the date for the 2008 Northeast All Star Games (Formerly Top Prospect Games). On August 29, 2008, the top players from the 2009 and 2010 graduation classes that participated in the Northeast State Showcases, Northeast Regional Showcases, and Northeast Tournaments will be selected to participate in the 2008 Northeast All Star Games.

The games will take place at Alumni Diamond on the campus of Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. There will be four teams at the event, New England, New York, Mid Atlantic, and 2010 Northeast. Each team will take batting practice, infield/outfield, and play a 10 inning game. Rosters of the four teams will be listed on the Perfect Game Northeast website. Each team’s roster listing will include each player's hometown, high school, and high school coach.

Each team will be coached by two major league scouts. Every major league team and over 300 college coaches will be invited to attend the 2008 Northeast All Star Games. This should be an exciting day as this promises to be a who’s who of Northeast baseballs' 2009 and 2010 graduating classes.
