2006 Northeast Top Prospect Games

Perfect Game Northeast has announced the date for the 2006 Northeast Top Prospect Games. On August 25, 2006, the top players from the 2007 graduation class that participated in the Northeast State Showcases, Northeast Regional Showcases, and Northeast Tournaments will be selected to participate in the 2006 Northeast Top Prospect Games.

The games will take place at Baseball Heaven in Yaphank, New York. Batting practice will start at 10:00am, followed by infield/outfield, and then two games that will see New York take on New England and New Jersey take on Pennsylvania. Rosters of the four teams will be listed on the Perfect Game website and the Perfect Game Northeast website. Each team’s roster listing will include each player's hometown, high school, and high school coach.

Each team will be coached by two major league scouts. Every major league team and over 300 college coaches will be invited to attend the 2006 Northeast Top Prospect Games. This should be an exciting day as this promises to be a who’s who of Northeast baseballs' 2007 graduating class.

Each player’s high school coach will be announced and honored prior to the games with a certificate, shirt, and photo opportunities.

Perfect Game has set up two hotels as the official host hotels of the Northeast Top Prospect Games. [View]
