North Carolina

The Tar Heels focused on clubhouse culture and leadership this fall and made great strides in those areas. The 2016 team looks to be a blue collar unit with a chip on its shoulder.

Junior center fielder Tyler Ramirez bounced back to have a great fall after struggling in the Cape this summer. Ramirez is a well rounded player who brings a little bit of everything to the table and he makes a ton of contact.

Three newcomers who stood out this fall were Tyler Lynn, Kyle Datres, and Cole Aker. Lynn, who starred at Chattahoochee Valley Community College, is a lefthanded bat with a big time hit tool. The highly competitive Datres is a legitimate two-way player and on the mound he is a strike thrower with plus feel for spin. Aker was up to 93 mph this fall and his outstanding makeup looks like it will be a separator.
