Matt Davidson

One of the top hitters in the 2009 class, Matt is a player that could go early in the draft to a team looking for a power bat. He has a very advanced hitting approach and showed his raw power by hitting nearly a 400 foot opposite field shot during the games.
Kristopher Hobson
1B - 2009 - Bakersfield, CA
Texas A&M
A highest-level two-way prospect, Kristopher could go early in the draft on the mound or at the plate. He attacks hitters with a fastball that reaches 92 and a very tight curveball. Offensively Kristopher has a smooth and relaxed swing from the left side that projects to show at least average MLB hitting ability and raw power potential.
James Dykstra
OF - 2009 - San Diego, CA
Louisiana State/Yavapai College
A very solid all-around player, James’ bat sticks out the most for him. He shows pop to all fields and has an advanced hitting approach, while also showing solid outfield tools. James has bloodlines on his side as his brother was a first-round pick in this year’s draft.

Race was arguably the most polished pitcher at the event with a solid three pitch mix including a fastball that reached 88. He has great pitchability with a loose easy arm action and a tight 10 to 4 curveball, as well as a good feel for his change-up.
Aaron Northcraft
RHP - 2009 - Newport Beach, CA
Southern California
A tall imposing presence, Aaron showed a fastball that touched 89 with hard boring action on right-handers. His off-speed wasn’t as sharp as usual, but Aaron’s arm works well and he has big potential on the mound.
Ethan Miller
RHP - 2009 - Chino Hills, CA
San Diego State
Ethan looks the part of a big-time prospect where he has a loose easy arm action and showed a fastball that topped out at 86. Ethan has been up to 90 earlier in the summer and will be a player to follow this coming spring.
Nolan Clark
C - 2009 - Mission Viejo, CA
Virginia/Yavapai College
A highest-level two way prospect, Nolan has the tools to project behind the plate or on the mound. He has good bat speed and pop to all fields, while also showing off a strong arm and quick release behind the plate. On the mound Nolan showed a fastball that touched 88 with good life and the makings of a tight curveball.
Christopher Carrillo
C - 2009 - Hacienda Heights, CA

A very projectable player, Chris has the raw tools to become one of the better catchers on the West Coast. He has a strong arm and a very quick release behind the plate, while also showing good bat speed and the ability to stay inside the ball at the plate.
Ryan Hambright

A potential two-way prospect Ryan showed good upside in the outfield and on the mound. In the outfield Ryan looks the part of a right-fielder where he shows a strong arm with clean actions and good raw hitting tools. On the mound Ryan has an aggressive pitching style with a fastball that touched 87 and a tight 10 to 4 curveball.
Drew Bradshaw
LHP - 2009 - Danville, CA

A strong physically developed left-hander, Drew features a fastball that touched 88 with an arm that works well. Drew has a good ability to change speeds showing a good feel for a change-up and a solid 2-8 curveball.
Ryan Chapman
C - 2009 - Tustin, CA

Ryan is a player that will have options when picking a position eventually. He was one of the best defensive catchers at the event with a strong arm and quick release, while also touching 89 on the mound with good projection.
Andrew Rodriguez
OF - 2009 - Union City, CA
San Jose State
Speed is what separates Andrew as a player as he was easily the fastest player at the event running a 6.75 sixty. At the plate Andrew has good hitting tools to work with and could project as a solid leadoff hitter down the road.
Thomas Emanuele
RHP - 2009 - Orange, CA
UC Irvine
While not quite as polished as some other pitchers, the upside is very high for Thomas. Thomas has a long loose arm action that produces fastball in the 86-89 range with plus life. Thomas is a highest-level college prospect right now that could attract the attention of some MLB Scouts this spring as his off-speed pitches develop.
Gabriel Encinas
RHP - 2010 - Whittier, CA

A 2010 prospect, Gabriel looks the part of one of the top players in his class. He overmatched hitters with a fastball that touched 89 at the showcase, but has been in the low 90’s before. Gabriel has a great pitcher’s build that projects very well and he shows the making off a solid 11 to 5 curveball.
Albert (AJ) Vanegas
RHP - 2010 - Alameda, CA
Stanford
A 2010 prospect, Albert simply overmatched hitters at times with a fastball that sat in the 88-91 range. Complimenting his fastball, Albert also showed a tight 10 to 4 curveball with a short clean arm action that works well.
