Matz really impressed at the Sunshine Northeast with plus arm speed, good command of an upper 80’s fastball and the potential for plus secondary pitches. He was selected for the National Showcase.

Justin VanGrouw  RHP - 2009 - Oakland, NJ
Wake Forest

VanGrouw has very tall lean frame at 6’6 190lbs. Easy arm action that produce 90mph fastballs with little effort. He mixed four pitches and had good command. He has loads of projection and is one to watch. He was selected for the National Showcase.

Kyle McKenzie  RHP - 2009 - Canton, MA
Tulane

McKenzie has a fast arm that produces a fastball that reaches 90mph. His curveball has potential to be a sharp downer pitch. He was selected for the National Showcase.

Dominic Leone  RHP - 2009 - Norwich, CT
Clemson

Leone has good command of a 90mph. He has a fast arm and mixes in a good curveball and change. The ball comes out of his hand well. He was selected for the National Showcase.

Steve is a super athletic infielder with good actions and arm strength in the infield. He also throws 90mph from the outfield and shows hitting potential and tools. He can really run turning in a 6.63 time in the sixty. He was selected for the National Showcase.

Kelly is a good outfield with arm strength and it plays making accurate throws to the bases. He also shows a quick short stroke at the plate with good bat speed and gap power. He was selected for the National Showcase.

Stuckey is a very versatile player with great athletic ability. He can run(6.72), throw (90 from OF), makes plays in the infield, and shows good hitting tools. He was selected for the National Showcase.

Gomez really impressed with the bat in the games. He squares balls up and drives to all fields. He also had 2.00 pop time.

Donovan is a top of the line defensive catcher. He has very good catch and throw skills and excellent blocking technique. He also shows ability with the bat.

Bradshaw is another good two way prospect. He was up to 86mph on the mound with a nice projectable build to add velocity. He also impressed at the plate showing good power potential and also through 91 from the outfield.
