Jeremy Jeffress

Jeffress was discovered at the 2005 PG Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase last August after being persuaded to attend at the last minute. Jeffress threw 91 mph at that event and has since been named an AFLAC All-American, shot up to the top of national prospect charts, and topped out at 98-99 mph on his fastball. He threw a casual 87-90 at UNC with a sharp 74 mph curveball. Great Athlete!
Bobby Leeper

Leeper was the top outfield prospect at the event. Hes an aggressive hitter with plus bat speed and present power and is just beginning to fill out. Leeper also threw 90 mph from the outfield and is a good runner.
Michael Belfiore
OF - 2006 - Commack, NY
Boston College
Belfiore is a rare right handed hitting, left handed throwing prospect with a projectable 6-3, 195 frame. He swings a nice bat with developing power potential and even threw 84 mph off the mound.
Justin Schumer
SS - 2006 - Charlotte, NC
UNC-Asheville
Schumer was the most polished, college ready middle infielder at the showcase both offensively and defensively. He made several outstanding defensive plays at shortstop going both ways, and hit the ball with authority. Schumer also threw 84-86 mph off the mound.
Rafael Lopez
SS - 2006 - Wellington, FL
Florida State/Indian River State College
Lopez is a Florida prospect with very polished actions and skills offensively and defensively. Hitting from the left side is a big plus, and Lopez makes consistent hard contact with surprising power. Hell be a high performance college player.
Jon Broscious

The 6-4 Brocious impressed as an athlete as a 7.07 runner who threw 89 mph from the outfield and hit with power. He threw 85 mph from the mound with a quick, loose arm and projects to throw harder in the future.
Carl Kleinhenn

Kleinhenn throws from an extended low ¾ release point that creates a very uncomfortable cross fire effect on right handed hitters. He was 84-87 mph on his fastball with very good arm speed and a 70 mph curveball.
Evan Stehle
C - 2006 - Richmond, VA

Stehle showed the best game raw power of any hitter, blasting a 400 bomb to LCF one game, then knocking one off the RCF fence the next. He has good quickness behind the plate and a best pop time of 1.97.

Meiners throws from a cross body, drop and drive delivery that is very deceptive. His fastball topped at 84 mph and his 70 mph curveball was an out pitch to both left and right handed hitters. Few hitters had good swings against Meiners.

Pierce is a very young senior with prospect talent both as a pitcher and left handed hitting outfielder. He threw 83-85 mph with a very sharp 71 mph curveball and should keep improving.
Nicholas Pisula

Pisula is a toolsy outfielder who threw 90 mph during drills and ran a 6.9. He showed his power potential a couple of times during the games. He also played some third base.

Casali has emerged as one of the better junior catchers in the 2007 class. He was the top defensive catcher at the event, combining quickness with arm strength. Offensively, Casali had 7 showcase hits and showed power and a quick, crisp swing. Weve seen him frequently this summer and he keeps getting better!

Adzick is a very projectable southpaw with three solid present pitches that are just going to get better. He touched 85 mph with his fastball and his 70 mph curveball and 75 mph change are potential plus pitches. High ceiling young talent!
Greg Holt

Holt combines power in his bat with a powerful arm. He was one of the leading hitters at the event and topped out at 87 mph on the mound. At 62 , 185 lbs, he projects to fill out in the future and add power.
Patrick Arnold

Arnold is a strong and athletic 2007 right handed pitcher with an 84-86 mph fastball and a 68-72 mph curveball that had the biggest downer break of any curveball at the event.

Morey is a young 6-1 right hander with a quick, live arm. He was 84-87 mph at UNC with a sharp biting downer CB at 71 mph. Weve heard reports of this rising junior touching 90 mph in the past.
