San Diego Show shut down West Coast Mariners in their 8-0 win. Braedon Barr (2015, Grossmont, CA) threw five solid innings for the Show. He struck out one while allowing just two hits. Carlos Moseley (2015, Elk Grove, CA) led the offensive attack with two singles and an RBI.  Steven Kwan (2015, Washington, CA) went 2 for 3 in the win.  John Cresto (2015, Cathedral Catholic, CA) drove in two runs with a single.  Geoff McCalley (2016, Scripps Ranch, CA) pitched in with a single and two RBI's.  Toru Sugiura (2015, Cathedral Catholic, CA) had two singles in the win. 

Teagan Lind (2015, Westview, OR) threw for the Mariners. In four innings, he struck out two and walked one.  Sage Diehm (2015, Skyview, ID) came in next to finish the game. In an inning, he allowed two hits and did not walk a batter. Both pitchers' heater reached 85 mph. 

Elite's tie

CCB Elite and DBacks Elite Scout Team tie 8-8 in consolation game. James Outman (2015, Junipero Serra, CA) led CCB with three hits including a double.  Scott Ota (2015, Junipero Serra, CA) went 2 for 3 and drove in a run.  Trevor Larnach (2015, College Park, CA) pitched in with a double and a triple.  He also drove in a run.  Troy Burg (2015, Bellarmine College, CA) helped out with two singles.  Larnach pitched two innings and struck out one. His fastball was between 83-85 mph and touched 86. 

Anthony Mayorge (2015, Chatsworth, CA) started for the DBacks. In five innings, he fanned one and did not walk a batter. He threw his heater in the low 80's and touched 85 mph. Luke Eigisti (2015, Saguaro, AZ) came in to finish the game. In two innings, he k'ed three and walked one. His fastball touched 86 mph. AJ Graffanino (2015, Northwest Christian, AZ) led the offense with two hits including a double and two RBI's.  Alex Daniels (2015, Westwood, AZ) went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. 

NorCal advances

It was an offensive game but NorCal Baseball came out on top of Dallas Patriots to move on in the playoffs. Tanner Dodson (2015, Jesuit, CA) led the offense with three hits including a double and an RBI.  Wesley Galloway (2015, St. Patrick-St Vincent, CA) drove in three runs with a single.  Jonathan Engelman (2015, Burlingame, CA) hit a triple in the win.  Nick Frank (2015, Granite Bay, CA) started and lasted five innings. He struck out one and allowed two walks. Del-Bonte-Smith (2015, Soquel, CA) threw 2/3 inning and did not walk a batter. Both pitchers' low 80's fastball reached 86 mph.

Patriots had 13 hits in the loss.  Darius Hill (2015, Jesuit College Prep, TX) and Robert Salazar (2015, Birdville, TX) both had two singles.  Anthony Lepre (2015, Valencia, CA) drove in two runs with a single.  Antonio Lima (2015, Grapevine, TX) went 2 for 4.  Jordan Satterwhite (2015, L.D. Bell, TX) pitched in with two singles and an RBI.  Ashton Easley (2015, Marcus, TX) hit two singles in the loss. Kevin Chandler (2015, Valencia, CA) threw three innings and struck out two. He allowed nine hits and zero walks. His fastball was recorded in the low 80's and reached 85 mph. Brandon Provence (2015, Lovejoy, TX) came in next to pitch two perfect innings. His fastball was between 84-87 mph and touched 88. Easley came in to finish the game. He allowed two hits and zero walks. He also threw an impressive fastball that touched 87 mph. 

Banditos take the title

The Houston Banditos totaled 12 hits and had a big third inning to beat the Evoshield Canes 10-4 and win the Perfect Game 17u World Series. Alfredo Villarreal (2015, Veterans Memorial, Brownsville, TX) picked up the win for Houston and pitched great. He went 6 innings and allowed just 2 earned runs, while striking out 4. His fastball was lively constantly between 86 and 88 mph, while touching 90 mph.

Joe Davis (2015, Bowie, Austin, TX), a Houston commit, led the offense for Houston. He finished 3-5 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored. Chris Scherff (2015, Fort Worth Christian, Colleyville, TX) went 3-4 with 2 RBI and a run scored. Garrett Wolforth (2016, Concordia Lutheran, Spring, TX), a Dallas Baptist commit, went 2-4 with a triple and 3 RBI. Conner Capel (2016, Seven Lakes, Katy, TX) went 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Kody Clemens (2015, Memorial, Houston, TX), a Texas commit, went 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored.

Elite Squad moves on

Elite Squad Baseball racked up 12 hits in their 9-5 win over CBA Marucci to move on in the playoffs.  Daniel Reyes (2015, Mater Academy Charter, FL) led the attack with two singles and two RBI's.  Andrew Gottfried (2015, Calvary Christian Academy, FL) went 2 for 3 and came around to score twice.  Robert Montes (2015, Coral Gables Senior, FL) hit a single and a triple which drove in a run.  Julian Infante (2015, Westminster Christian, FL) did his thing with two hits including a double and two RBI's. Joey Gonzalez (2015, Miami Killian Senior, FL) threw 5 1/3 innings and struck out two. He allowed six hits and one walk. His impressive fastball was in the high 80's and touched 89 mph. 

Andy Pagnozzi (2015, Fayetteville, AR) threw 2 2/3 innings for Marucci. He fanned three while throwing his mid 80's fastball that reached 90 mph.  Luke Williams (2015, Dana Hills, CA) led the offense with a double that drove in two runs. 

DBacks Elite and the Roadrunners tie 3-3

The Dbacks Elite Scout Team and the Georgia Roadrunners, end in a 3-3 tie.

Luke Eigsti (2015, Saguaro HS, AZ) went 2-4 for the DBacks, with two singles and one run scored.  Justin Williams (2016, Raymond S. Kellis HS, AZ) finished 2-3 with two singles.  Zachary Hardy (2015, Desert Vista HS, AZ) finished 1-3 with a single and one RBI in the game.  Steven Butts (2015, Northwest Christian HS, AZ) pitched a complete game, giving up two earned runs on seven hits, and struck out three, in seven innings of work.  He had a fastball that peaked at 82 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

For the Roadrunners, Justin Dutka (2015, Lambert HS, GA) contributed with a double, and Seth Beer (2016, Lambert HS, GA) had a triple and one run scored.  Johnathan Meuse (2015 ,Woodstock HS, GA) also pitched a complete game, giving up three earned on seven hits and struck out two, while displaying a fastball that also topped out at 82 mph.

The SGV Arsenal win the back-and-forth battle, defeating the Cleats AZ Pilots, 10-8.

Grant Woodward (2015, Damien HS, CA) led the way, going 2-4 with a homerun, single, one run, and three RBIs in the game.  Tyler Durna (2015, Ruben S. Ayala HS, CA) also finished 2-4 at the plate, with two doubles, one run and two RBIs.  Marcos Campos (2015, South Hills HS, CA) went 2-2 with a double, single, two runs and one RBI.  Chris Ceballos (2015, Chino Hills HS, CA) finished 2-2 as well, with a double, single, two runs, and one RBI.

Cameron Cannon (2016, Mountain Ridge HS, AZ) led the way for the Pilots, going 2-3 with a homerun, single, one run and five RBIs.  Cooper Davis (2015, Mountain Pointe HS, AZ) also finished 2-3, with a triple, single, and two runs scored.  George Jennings (2015, Horizon HS, AZ) finished a perfect 3-3 at the plate, with a double, two singles, two runs and one RBI.


GBG Marucci Offense too much in Win

The GBG Marucci offense was too much, spreading 15 hits in the game, and went on to defeat Chandler Baseball World, 13-7.

Ryan Fineman (2015, Agoura HS, CA) led the way, going 3-4 with three singles, one run, and three RBIs in the game.  Matt Lautz (2015, Agoura HS, CA) also went 3-4 at the plate, with three singles, two runs, and one RBI.  Jordan Prendiz (2016, Mt. Whitney HS, CA) went 2-4, with two runs and three RBIs.  Ben Baird (2016, Agoura HS, CA) a Washington commit, provided a double, and Brandon Wulff (2015, Bishop Gorman HS, NV) a Stanford commit, had a triple in the game.

For Chandler, Kyle Dean (2015, Rancho Bernardo HS, CA) a San Diego commit, went 2-2 with a homerun, single, two runs, and three RBIs in the game.  Connor Klemann (2015, Spring-Ford HS, PA) a Penn State commit, went 2-2 with a double, single, and three runs scored.  Devin Davis (2015, Valencia HS, CA) a Loyola Marymount commit, provided two doubles, one run and one RBI in the contest.

Tyler Wyatt (2015, Liberty HS, AZ) led the way for the Prowlers, going 1-3 with a single, and two runs scored.  Aaron Prado (2015 ,Sandra Day O'Connor HS, AZ) went 1-2 with a run scored, and Antonio Coronado (2015, St. Mary's HS, AZ) provided a single, one run, and one RBI in the game.

For FTB, Gabriel Garcia (2015, Montverde Academy, FL) provided the spark for the offense, going 2-3 with a homerun, one run, and one RBI in the game.


Banditos Advance With 9-1 Victory

The Houston Banditos defeated the Elite Squad Baseball 9-1 in five innings. 

The Stephen F. Austin, Tyler Pinkston (2015, Rockwall, TX), led the surge for the Banditos with a pair of singles with two RBIs and a run. Conner Capel (2016, Katy, TX) and Ryan Reynolds (2016, Monroe, LA) each roped two singles with one RBI and a run. Joe Davis (2015, Austin, TX) connected with a two RBI double, and Tristan Metten (2015, Lewisville, TX) added a single and two runs. Chris Scherff (2015, Colleyville, TX) helped with a RBI single of his own and later scoring. Michael Smith (2015, Magnolia, TX) and Kody Clemens (2015, Houston, TX) each picked up a RBI without a hit. 

Christopher Paddack (2015, Cedar Park, TX) tossed the complete game. He only tossed 39 pitches while in the five innings of work. He scattered five hits with one earned run. He walked one and struck out eight on his 90 mph fastball.

The Florida commit, Daniel Reyes (2015, Miami Springs, FL), led the Elite Squad with a single and a double. Lucius Fox Jr. (2015, Delray Beach, FL) added a RBI single, and Andrew Gottfried (2015, Coral Springs, FL) knocked a single and later scored. 

CCB Elite End Tournament in 8-4 Win

The CCB Elite defeated the Chandler Baseball World 8-4 in six innings.

The Oregon State commit, Trevor Larnach (2015, Concord, CA), led the offensive duties for CCB with a pair of singles that plated three RBIs and scoring once. Troy Miller (2015, Aptos, CA) added a RBI triple with a pair of runs for his team. Ben Skinner (2015, Moraga, CA) and Keenan Brigman (2015, San Jose, CA) each knocked a RBI single of their own, and James Outman (2015, Redwood City, CA ) connected with a triple and a run. 

Troy Burg (2015, San Jose, CA) led the pitching duties for the longest with 2.2 innings. He let just one hit fall with two runs to score with both being earned. He walked one and did not strike out any. He ran the gun up to 81 mph with his fastball. Miller also tossed the last inning and shut down the opposition without giving up a walk, hit, or a run. He did strike out one on his 86 mph fastball.

For Chandler Baseball, the Kansas commit, Ty Denzer (2015, Victoria, MN), led the team with a pair of base knocks with a RBI and a run. Devin Davis (2015, Santa Clarita, CA) added a RBI triple for his team, and Kyle Dean (2015, San Diego, CA) along with Connor Klemann (2015, Royersford, PA) contributed a RBI without picking up a hit. 

Mountain West Take Down Prowlers 4-2

The Mountain West '15 defeated the AZ Prowlers 4-2 in seven innings.

Scott Stokes (2015, Park City, UT) led the surge for the Mountain West with a pair of singles while plating one RBI. Tristan Dyer (2015, Peoria, AZ) connected with a RBI triple to help. Grant Little (2016, Midlan, TX) and Hunter Coleman (2016, Midland, TX) each roped a pair of singles. Kona Quiggle (2016, Phoenix, AZ) added a RBI single with a run.

Matt Dalke (2015, Phoenix, AZ) took over the pitching duties and went the complete game with all seven innings. He scattered six hits with both runs to score to be earned. He did not walk a batter and struck out six on his 87 mph fastball. 

Rudy Karre (2015, Peoria, AZ) led the offense for the AZ Prowlers with a double and two runs. Five other teammates added a single each. Hayden Durkiewicz (2015, Chandler, AZ) was pinned with a RBI without a hit.


Cleats AZ wins pitcher's dual

The Cleats AZ Pilots needed only 1 run and got on the right side of a pitcher's dual in their 1-0 victory over the San Diego Show. Aaron Stretch (2015, Williams Field, Gilbert, AZ) picked up the win for Cleats. He went 4 innings and allowed no earned run and just 2 hits, while striking out 2.

Wilson Miles (2015, Valhalla, El Cajon, CA) pitched well for San Diego. He went all 7 innings allowing no earned and just 5 hits, while striking out 5.

Allan Garcia (2015, Mesquite, Nogales, AZ) led the offense for Cleats. He went 1-2 and scored the game's only run.

SGV gets the job done

SGV Arsenal used 11 hits to beat FTB 9-4. They scored 6 runs in the first two innings and never gave up the lead. Max Jones (2015, Bishop Amat, Whittier, CA) picked up the win for SGV. He went all 7 innings allowing just 3 earned, while striking out 3.

Ryan Evans (2015, Dr. Phillips, Orlando, FL) pitched well for FTB. He went 3.1 innings allowing just 1 earned and only 3 hits, while striking out 2.

Chris Ceballos (2015, Chino Hills, Chino Hills, CA) had a huge day at the plate to leave SGV. He went a perfect 4-4 with a run scored and 4 RBI. Tyler Durna (2015, Ruben S. Ayala, Chino Hills, CA) went a perfect 3-3 with a double and 3 runs scored. Dametri Evans (2015, Tahquitz, Hemet, CA) went 2-3 with an RBI.

West Coast hangs on

The West Coast Mariners hung on in the seventh inning to beat the Mountain West '15 10-7. Leading 8-3, West Coast scored 2 in the top of the seventh, while Mountain West scored 4 in the bottom of the inning. Nico Tellache (2016, Canby, Canby, OR), an Oregon commit, picked up the win for West Coast. He went 4.1 innings allowing only 1 earned and 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking only 1.

Colton Sakamoto (2015, Westview, Tualatin, OR) led the offense for West Coast. He went 2-4 with a double, a run scored, and 4 RBI. Andy Schubert (2015, Westview, Beaverton, OR) went 2-3 with a double and 2 runs scored.

Austin Treadwell (2015, Eldorado, Albuquerque, NM), a New Mexico commit, led the offense for Mountain West. He went 3-4 with a triple and a run scored. Canes Move On Past Patriots 7-3

The Evoshield Canes defeated the Dallas Patriots 7-3 in six innings.

The Vanderbilt commit, Stephen Scott (2015, Cary, NC), led the Canes offense with a two RBI single and a walk. Desmond Lindsay (2015, Bradenton, FL) helped with the only multi hit game for his team with a double and a single that scored one RBI and touched home twice. Ryan Johnson (2015, College Station, TX) and Logan (LT) "Anthony" Tolbert (2015, Piedmont, SC) each knocked a RBI single with a run, and Xavier LeGrant (2015, Charlotte, NC) connected with a RBI double and later score. 

The Louisville commit, Noah Burkholder (2015, Crown Point, IN), tossed the first two innings. He let just two hits fall with two runs to score that were unearned. He walked two and struck out two while touching 91 mph with his fastball. The the Virginia Tech commit, Paul Hall (2015, Norfolk, VA), finished the game with the last four innings. He scattered four hits with one run to score. He walked two and struck out four. He maxed out the radar at 89 mph. 

For the Patriots, Robert Salazar (2015, North Richland Hills, TX) led the surge with a two RBI single, and Caleb Kyle (2015, Frisco, TX) helped with a pair of singles with a RBI. Jared Denning (2015, American Canyon, CA) led the NorCal offense with a two RBI double in the first inning. Fineas Del Bonta-Smith (2015, Soqual, CA) joined in with a two RBI single of his own to help. Tanner Dodson (2015, Elk Grove, CA) contributed a RBI single of his own. Hank Loforte (2015, Elk Grove, CA), Wesley Galloway (2015, Suisun City, CA), and Robert Emery (2015, San Francisco, CA) all added a single each with a run. 

Anthony Nunez (2014, Tracy, CA) tossed the first two innings for his team. He scattered five hits with just one run to score. He did not walk a batter and struck out five while touching 84 mph with his fastball. Dodson led the pitching duties with five innings. He let five hits fall with two earned runs to score. He walked two and struck out five while running the gun up to 91 mph. 

Jagger Rusconi (2015, Valencia, CA) led the surge for Marucci with a 3-4 game with two singles and a triple while plating one RBI and one run. Jordan Prendiz (2016, Visalia, CA) added a pair of base knocks with a RBI and a run as well. Brandon Shearer (2015, Agoura Hills, CA) and Spencer Steer (2016, Long Beach, CA) each knocked a RBI single of his own. The Elite Squad Baseball defeated the Prospects National Team 4-3 in seven innings.

Nathan Pawelczyk (2015, Pompano Beach, FL) walked off the game for the Elite Squad with a RBI single that scored Andrew Gottfried (2015, Coral Springs, FL). Gottfried also led the comeback with a two RBI double in the seventh inning. Christian Demby (2015, Fort Lauderdale, FL) and Lucius Fox Jr. (2015, Delray Beach, FL) each helped with a pair of singles with a run. Robert Montes (2015, Miami, FL) added a RBI single for his team.

Gottfried tossed two strong innings for his team as well. He let just two hits falls without an earned run to score. He walked one and struck out three on his 90 mph fastball. Frank Bartow (2015, Miami, FL) went the longest by closing the game with five innings. He scattered four hits with two runs to score. He did not walk a batter and struck out three. He maxed out the radar at 91 mph.

The Kentucky commit, Nicholas Shumpert (2015, Lone Tree, CO), led the Prospects with a single and double with two RBIs. Will Dawson (2015, Cypress, TX) and Luke Watson (2015, Cypress, TX) contributed a single each with a run. Elijah MacNamee (2015, Cypress, TX) and Jacob Alexander (2015, Temple, TX) helped with a single.

Zak Taylor (2015, Sherwood, OR) provided the only runs for the Mariners with a two RBI single. Colton Sakamoto (2015, Tualatin, PR) helped with a single and a double of his own, and Tanner Marsh (2015, Tualatin, OR) knocked a single and scored later. Alex O'Rourke (2015, Pendleton, OR) added a double and a run. 

Karter Cook (2015, Sherwood, OR) tossed the longest with 3.2 innings. He scattered five hits with just one run to score. He walked one and struck out three while touching 82 mph with his fastball. Parker McFadden (2015, Yelm, WA) closed out the game with 2.1 innings. He let just one hit fall without a run to score. He walked one and struck out one while maxing out the radar at 94 mph with his fastball. 

Jaxxon Fagg (2015, Gilbert, AZ) led the DBacks with a pair of doubles and driving in the only run. AJ Graffanino (2015, Peoria, AZ) and Luke Eigsti (2015, Scottsdale, AZ) added a pair of singles with Eigisti scoring the one run.

The Kentucky commit, Travis Blankenhorn (2015, Pottsville, PA), led the Chandler offensive with a double and a triples while driving in two RBIs and scoring once. Kyle Dean (2015, San Diego, CA) led the team with three hits with all being singles and two runs. Kyle Datres (2015, Williamsport, PA) added a single and a run for his team, and Brandon Perez (2015, Ladera Ranch, CA) was pinned with the last RBI without getting a hit. Jared Mang (2015, Los Alamos, NM) had a multi-hit game for them as he went 2 for 3 with 2 singles. Caleb McAlister (2015, La Cueva, NM) pitched well as the starter over his 6 innings of work. He allowed 8 hits, 2 earned runs, and 2 walks, while striking out 3. The winning pitcher for Mountain West was Austin Treadwell (2015, El Dorado, NM). He allowed 2 hits, and 1 unearned run, while striking out 1. His fastball sat 83-85 and topped out at 87.

His fastball showed nice velocity as it sat 85-86 and topped out at 89. Daniel Reyes (2015, Mater Academy Charter, FL) was the teams leader of offense. He went 3 for 4 in this game with 2 triples, and 4 RBI's. Christian Demby (2015, St. Thomas Aquinas, FL) and Lucius Fox Jr. (2015, American Heritage, FL) each drove in 2 runs apiece as well. Also with a multi-hit game was Andrew Gottfried (2015, Calvary Christian Academy, FL) who went 2 for 3 with a double.

CBA Marucci stays unbeaten with win

CBA Marucci defeated the AZ Prowlers by a final score of 6-2 on Sunday. This win kept Marucci undefeated and improved their record to (4-0) for the tournament thus far.

CBA's offense was led by a very balanced attack today as 5 different players were able to drive in runs for them. Luke Williams (2015, Dana Hills, CA), Chris Betts (2015, Wilson, CA), Niko Navarro (2015, Los Osos, CA), Steven Elliot (2015, Alta Loma, CA), and Tyrus Greene (2015, St. Augustine, CA) were each able to drive in a run apiece. Betts and Bryce Fehmel (2015, Agoura, CA ) each had a double in this one as well. The lone multi-hit performance for CBA went to Nick Madrigal (2015, Elk Grove, CA) who went 2 for 2. Winning on the mound for CBA was Austin Moore (2015, Marina, CA) who threw 4 innings. He gave up 4 hits, 1 earned run, and 4 walks, while striking out 4 batters. His fastball sat 85-86 and topped out at 88.

The Prowlers were led on offense by Anthony Sepulveda (2015, Chandler, AZ). He went 1 for 3 in this game with 2 RBI's. Christian Isbell (2015, Horizon, AZ) showed nice velocity on the mound for AZ as his fastball sat 80-82 and topped out at 88.

The Elite Squad Baseball defeated the SGV Arsenal 5-4 in six innings.

Christian Demby (2015, Fort Lauderdale, FL) and Lucius Fox Jr. (2015, Delray Beach, FL) led the Elite Squad with a single and a double with a RBI each, and Demby scored once. Zach Jackson (2017, Haines City, FL) added a two RBI triple, and Elijah Marrero (2015, Miami, FL) smoked a triple and later scored. Daniel Reyes (2015, Miami Springs, FL) contributed a RBI single with a run.

The Elite Squad tossed five different pitchers. The Miami commit, Isaiah Musa (2015, Miami, FL), tossed the fastest with a 91 mph fastball, and Nathan Pawelczyk (2015, Pompano Beach, FL) topped out at 89 mph. 

Tyler Durna (2015, Chino Hulls, CA) led the offensive sure with a double and a single with a RBI. Chris Ceballos (2015, Chino Hills, CA) knocked a RBI single, and Justin Bardwell (2015, Chino Hills, CA) and Grant Woodward (2015, Claremont, CA) added a single and a run each.

CCB Elite and San Diego Show Tie 3-3

CCB Elite scored a run in the bottom of the 7th inning to end the game in a 3-3 tie against San Diego Show. 

Braedon Barr (2015, Grossmont HS, CA) starred offensively for San Diego Show as he was the only player on either side with multiple hits. Barr ended the day 2-2 with a HR, double, 2 RBI, and drew a walk. 

Preston Price (2016, Cathedral Catholic HS, CA) was effective for San Diego Show on the bump. In his 6 innings of work, he struck out 6, gave up 4 hits on just 1 earned run while effectively mixing a fastball from 82-86/88 and a slider from 74-77/78. 

Trevor Larnach (2015, College Park HS, CA), an Oregon State recruit, recorded the only extra-base hit for the Elite with an RBI triple showing excellent bat speed and leverage.

The West Coast Mariners defeated the AZ Prowlers 4-0 in seven innings.

The Oregon commit, Jacob Bennett (2015, Tualatin, OR), tossed the complete game for the Mariners. He allowed four hits to fall without an earned run to score. He walked two batters and struck out seven on his 88 mph fastball. He has a good slider with a long but quick arm action. He has arm side run on his fastball that can sink.

Offensively, Zak Taylor (2015, Sherwood, OR) and Colton Sakamoto (2015, Tualatin, OR) led the team with a RBI single. Tanner Marsh (2015, Tualatin, OR) knocked a single with two runs.

For the Prowlers, there were four batters to knock the four hits for the team.

Tim Salvadore (2015, Hopkinton, MA) went only one inning and let the lone hit fall without a run to score. He did not walk a batter and struck out one on his 89 mph fastball. The Notre Dane commit, Ashe Russell (2015, Indianapolis, IN), went the longest by complete shutting down the opposition. He did not allow a hit, walk, or run. He struck out seven in the process. He maxed out the radar at 94 mph with his fastball. He  showed a curve and a change up.He has a good curve that comes with a 12/6 break. He has outstanding arm speed with a loose arm action.

George Jennings (2015, Scottsdale, AZ) led the offensive surge for the Cleats with a three run home run in the second inning. Cooper Davis (2015, Phoenix, AZ) added two doubles with a run. Logan Soole (2015, Louisville, CO) added a pair of singles with a RBI and a run. Austin France (2015, Tucson, AZ) contributed a RBI single and later touched home. Koty Fallon (2016, Sunrise, AZ), Bryce Dobbs (2015, Queen Creek, AZ), and Cameron Cannon (2016, Glendale, AZ) each added a single, and Dobbs touched home once. 

Josh Andrews (2015, Queen Creek, AZ) tossed the longest with 4.2 innings. He scattered six hits with two earned runs. He walked one and struck out three while touching 88 mph with his fastball. He has good command while pitching effectively inside to batters. He knows how to pitch and comes with a smooth delivery. 

Ray Hernandez (2014, Orlando, FL) led the FTB offense with a two RBI single and a run. Gabriel Garcia (2015, Orlando, FL) added a RBI single with a run. Francisco Toro (2015, Kissimmee, FL) and Enrique Ferrer (2015, Naples, FL) added a single with a run to help their team.

Scotty Stout (2015, Bradenton, FL) went with two innings. He did not allow a walk, hit, or a run to occur. He struck out three batters on his 83 mph fastball. The Prospects National Team defeated the Chandler Baseball World 5-1 in six innings.

Elijah MacNamee (2015, Cypress, TX) led the Prospects with a two RBI single and a run. Ben Komonosky (2015, Regina, KS) added a double and a single. Dylan Hutcheson (2015, Witchita Falls, TX) roped a RBI single with a run and two walks. 

Cody Moos (2015, Castroville, TX) tossed most of the game by going five innings. He scattered five hits with one earned run. He walked two and struck out five on his 87 mph fastball. He came with a curve, slider, and change to add to his pitching arsenal.

Kyle Dean (2015, San Diego, CA) led the Chandler with a triple and a run. Brett Kinneman (2015, York, PA) was pinned with a RBI without a run to score. The team added four other singles to help.

Elite Squad Baseball edge out one run in the top of the fourth, that proved to be enough in a 1-0 victory, defeating Chandler Baseball World.

Daniel Reyes (2015, Mater Academy Charter, FL) a Florida commit, went 2-3 with two singles and one run scored.  Robert Montes (2015, Coral Gables Senior HS, FL) a South Florida commit, and Julian Infante (2015, Westminster Christian HS, FL) a Vanderbilt commit, each had a double in the game, and Infante finished with one RBI.  Andrew Cabezas (2015, Mater Academy Charter, FL) a Miami commit, pitched a complete game, giving up six hits, and struck out 10, in seven innings of work.  He had a good fastball that averaged 87-89 mph and topped out at 90 mph, while showing the ability to pitch out of trouble throughout the game, and was able to throw strikes with all pitches.

The Dallas Patriots cruised to the easy victory, defeating the Georgia Roadrunners, 10-2.

Caleb Kyle (2015, Prestonwood Christian Academy, TX) a Illinois commit, went 3-3 at the plate, with three singles, two runs and one RBI.  Antonio Lima (2015, Grapevine HS, TX) went 2-4 with two doubles, three runs, and two RBIs.  Ashton Easley (2015, Marcus HS, TX) went 3-4 with a double, two singles, and one RBI.

Trevor Nolen (2016, Corsicana HS, TX) pitched a complete game, giving up one earned run on four hits, and struck out one, while utilizing a fastball that topped out at 82 mph and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

For the Roadrunners, Alec Wilson (2015, West Forsyth HS, GA) went 1-2 with a single, and one RBI.  Seth Beer (2016, Lambert HS, GA) contributed with a double and one RBI in the game, and Will Lumpkin (2016, Handley HS, AL) had a double as well and one run scored.


Early Runs Prove to be Enough for Canes

The Evoshield Canes grabbed three early runs in the first inning that proved to be enough, as they went on to defeat the CCB Elite, 4-3.

Desmond Lindsay (2015, Out-of-Door Academy, FL) a UNC commit, led the way going a perfect 3-3 with a triple, two singles, one run and one RBI in the game.  Ryan Johnson (2015, College Station HS, TX) a TCU commit, went 1-2 with a single, one run and one RBI.  Cody Morris (2015, Reservoir HS, MD) a South Carolina commit, pitched six innings of work, giving up three earned runs on seven hits, and struck out six, while displaying a good fastball that peaked at 92 mph.  Evan Sperling (2015, Grafton HS, VA) a Virginia commit, also made an appearance on the mound, and he too had a good fastball that topped out at 91 mph.

For the CCB Elite, Trevor Larnach (2015, College Park HS, CA) 23 with two singles, and one RBI.  Nick Poirier () went 203 as well, with a double, single, and one run scored.  Keenan Brigman also contributed with a double in the game.

Zak Taylor (2015, Sherwood HS, OR) went 1-3 in the game, with a single, one run and two RBIs.  Parker Kelly (2015, Westview HS, OR) an Oregon commit, also went 1-3 with a single at the plate.  Kenyon Yovan (2015, Westview HS, OR) an Oregon commit, pitched 4.2 innings of work, giving up five hits and struck out four, while displaying a good fastball that topped out at 90 mph.

For NorCal, Hank LoForte (2015, Franklin HS, CA) a Cal State Fullerton commit, went 1-3 with a double and two RBIs.  Wesley Galloway (2015, St. Patrick-St. Vincent, CA) also had a double in the game.


Tri-State Arsenal Hangs On To Win 6-1

Tri-State Arsenal jumped out to an early lead and hung on to defeat AZ Prowlers 6-1. 

Willie Burger (2015, Lancaster Catholic HS, PA) was the only player on either side with multiple hits finishing the day 2-3 with a double, 2 runs, and a walk drawn. Sean Phelan (2015, Devon Prepatory HS, PA), a Pennsylvania recruit, was also productive for the winning offense going 1-2 with 2 RBI, a walk, and a run. 

Ryan Shinn (2015, Northern Burlington HS, NJ), a Florida Gulf Coast commit, picked up the win for Tri-State in his 5 innings of work. Shinn struck out 5 on just 3 hits and 1 run while mixing fastballs and curveballs with his deceptive delivery. 

Rudy Karre (2015, Liberty HS, AZ) was impressive on the mound for the losing side. Karre shut down the opposing offense during his 2.2 innings as he didn't give up a hit or a run showing a quick arm with a fastball from 87-89/90.

NorCal Cruises to 8-0 Victory

A good outing from Garrett Minahen (2015, American Canyon HS, CA) on the mound and the strong bat of Tanner Dodson (2015, Jesuit HS, CA), a California commit, gave NorCal Baseball an easy 8-0 victory over Mountain West '15. 

Minahen pitched the complete 6 inning game for NorCal striking out 4 on just 4 hits with no runs allowed. He mixed in effective changeups and breaking balls to go with his fastball. 

Tanner Dodson starred at the plate as the only player on either side with multiple hits. Dodson ended the day with an impressive stat line of 3-4 with a HR, double, 5 RBI, and 2 runs scored. 

Jared Mang (2015, Los Alamos HS, NM), a New Mexico recruit, had the lone extra-base hit for Mountain West in the losing effort with a double in the 2nd inning. 

Prospects National Team Erases Deficit For W

In a back-and-forth affair, Prospects National Team scored the final 5 runs of the game to go on to defeat DBacks Elite Scout Team 8-6 to remain undefeated for the tournament. Three Prospects pitchers limited the DBacks to just 4 hits on the afternoon. 

The Prospects offense was led by Will Dawson (2015, Cy-Fair HS, TX) and Luke Watson (2015, Cypress Ranch HS, TX) in the winning effort. Dawson finished the game 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI while Watson went 2-4 with a triple and a run scored.

The losing offense was supported by Jaxxon Fagg (2015, Williams Field HS, AZ) as he went 1-2 with an RBI double and a walk. 

Wulff's bat carries Marucci to win

GBG Marucci defeated Mountain West '15 9-4 to improve their record to 1-0.  Stanford commit, Brandon Wulff (2015, Bishop Gorman HS, NV), had a huge day offensively for the Marucci offense using a confident approach and showing off raw power going 4-4 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 3 RBI.  Ethan Lopez (2015, La Mirada HS, CA), a Southern California commit, also had a strong outing going 1-1 with 2 RBI, 1 stolen base and 2 walks. 

Arizona State commit, Jiovanni Orozco (2015, Salpointe Catholic HS, AZ), earned the win for Marucci going 3 innings allowing 2 runs, 1 earned, on 3 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 4.  Orozco showed a solid arm action on his 87-91/92 mph fastball and his 71-75 mph changeup. 

For the Mountain West, New Mexico commit, Connor Mang (2015, Los Alamos HS, NM), went 1-2 with 1 triple, 1 run scored, 1 RBI and 1 walk.  Hunter Coleman (2016, Midland HS, TX) also showed well going 2-3 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. 

NorCal Baseball ride big innings to an 8-0 victory

There were only four total hits between NorCal Baseball and GBG Marucci, but NorCal Baseball was able to manage eight runs. Four errors hurt the GBG Marucci squad, as NorCal took advantage of the mistakes. 

On the mound, NorCal Baseball received a great start from RHP Matthew McGarry (2015, Menlo-Atherton, CA). McGarry, a Vanderbilt commit, threw five no-hit innings, sporting an 86-92 mph fastball that topped out at a blazing 95. McGarry was a little erratic, as he walked seven batters, but he did strikeout five Marucci players. 

At the plate, Hank Loforte and Fineas Del-Bonta Smith led the NorCal offensive attack at the top of the lineup. Cal State Fullerton commit Loforte (2015, Franklin, CA) provided a spark in the leadoff spot, as he batted 1-3 with a run scored and two runs batted in. Fineas Del-Bonta Smith (2015, Soquel, CA) followed Loforte in the NorCal lineup, and he added a single, a run scored, and a run batted in. 

CBA Marucci dominates Tri-State Arsenal 14-1

CBA Marucci put up 14 runs on a good Tri-State Arsenal team to claim a run-rule shortened game. CBA Marucci dominated the game from start to finish. On the mound, CBA Marruci received a great start from UC Santa Barbara commit Bailey Falter (2015, Chino Hills, CA). Falter tossed five innings, allowing one unearned run on four hits and one walk. Falter notched five strikeouts, sporting a 84-86 mph fastball that topped out at 87. 

At the plate, the CBA Marucci offense was led by Nick Madrigal, Chris Betts, and Kyle Molnar. Madrigal (2015, Elk Grove, CA), an Oregon State commit, paced the offense in the leadoff spot, as he batted 2-4 with a run scored. Tennessee commit Chris Betts (2015, Wilson, CA) added a 2-run double. UCLA Bruin signee Kyle Molnar (2015, Aliso Niguel, CA) went 3-3 with a walk, a double, and three runs batted in. 

For Tri-State Arsenal, John Aiello (2015, Germantown Academy, PA) collected two of the Arsenal's four hits. Aiello had the only extra base hit for his squad (a double). Aiello is a Wake Forest commit.

The Dallas Patriots defeated the CCB Elite 8-3 to improve their record to 2-0 in the tournament.  The Patriots' offense was lead by Robert Salazar (2015, Birdville HS, TX) who went 2-3 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 3 RBI.  Darius Hill (2015, Jesuit College Prep HS, TX), a West Virginia commit, added in a 2-4 day with 4 RBI and Illinois commit, Caleb Kyle (2015, Prestonwood Christian Academy HS, TX), went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.  Also showing well was Ashton Easley (2015, Marcus HS, TX) who went 1-1 with 1 triple, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI and 1 walk. 

Starting and earning the win for the Patriots was Brandon Provence (2015, Lovejoy HS, TX), who tossed 4 innings allowing 3 runs, just 1 was earned, on 6 hits and 1 walk.  Provence mixed his 84-86/87 mph fastball with his 67-70 mph curveball while on the mound. 

For the CCB Elite, Scott Ota (2015, Junipero Serra HS, CA) and Conor Thane (2015, St Francis Central Coast Catholic HS, CA) each picked up 2 singles for their offense. 

NorCal earns win over Pilots

NorCal Baseball defeated the Cleats AZ Pilots 3-0 to move to 1-0 in the tournament.  Tyler Pearsall (2015, Will C. Wood HS, CA) started and earned the win for NorCal as he tossed 4 1/3 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 4 batters.  Pearsall was around the plate with all of his pitches, he got good riding life on his 79-83/84 mph fastball and mixed it with a late breaking 76 mph slider and a sinking 73-76/78 mph changeup. 

Leadoff man, Hank Loforte (2015, Franklin HS, CA), a Cal State Fullerton commit, did his part to spark the offense as he went 2-3 with 1 double and Robert Emery (2015, St Ignatius College Preparator HS, CA) added in a 2-3 with 1 run scored day at the plate.  California commit, Tanner Dodson (2015, Jesuit HS, CA), showed excellent bat speed and a line-drive swing plane going 1-3 with 1 triple and 1 RBI. 

For the Pilots, Cooper Davis (2015, Mountain Pointe HS, AZ) and Austin France (2015, Canyon Del Oro HS, AZ) each picked up 1 single and 1 walk.

The Kentucky commit, Nicholas Shumpert (2015, Lone Tree, CO), led the surge for the Prospects with a 3-4 night with two singles and a home run. He was pinned with three RBIs and a pair of runs. Will Dawson (2015, Cypress, TX) contributed  a two RBI single with a run. Dylan Hutcheson (2015, Witchita Falls, TX) knocked a double with a RBI, and Elijah MacNamee (2015, Cypress, TX) added a double of his own with a run. Clayton Kopecky (2015, Cypress, TX) smoked a RBI single with a run.

For Marucci, Niko Navarro (2015, Rancho Cucamonga, CA), Nick Madrigal (2015, Elk Grove, CA) and and Tyrus Greene (2015, San Diego, CA) led the team with a RBI without taking on a hit. David Maldonado (2015, Winchester, CA) knocked a triple while scoring once, and Bryce Fehmel (2015, Agoura, CA) contributed a single and a run.

Kyle Molnar (2015, Alison Viejo, CA) took the mound for most of the game. He went 5.1 innings with five hits surrendered. He let three runs score. He walked two and struck out six on his 92 mph fastball.

The Houston Banditos defeated the Tri-State Arsenal 9-0 in five innings.

Christopher Paddack (2015, Cedar Park, TX) tossed the one hit shut out for the Banditos. He walked four and struck out five while touching 88 mph. He has a good curve with a 12/6 break. He maintains arm speed with his change that sinks effectively.

The Texas commit, Kody Clemens (2015, Houston, TX), helped his team with three RBIs without getting a hit. Ryan Reynolds (2016, Monroe, LA) knocked a single that scored two runs. Connor Capel (2016, Katy, TX) knocked a single and a double that scored one RBI with one run. Michael Smith (2015, Magnolia, TX) contributed two singles with a RBI and a trio of runs. Tristan Metten (2015, Lewisville, TX) smoked a RBI single and later scored.

Tyler Williams (2015, Peoria, AZ) led the surge for the DBacks with a three RBI double. Ian Raidy (2016, Mesa, AZ) joined in with two singles that plated one RBI and scored twice. Tyler Watson (2015, Gilbert, AZ) knocked a double that scored a RBI, and Logan Boyer (2016, Chandler, AZ) matched with a RBI double of his own with a  run. Chris Scott (2015, Scottsdale, AZ) contributed a single and a run.

Jeremy Norris (2015, Gilbert, AZ) tossed most of the game with his team. He went five innings with just three hits to fall without a run to score. He walked three and struck out two on his 87 mph fastball.

The FAU commit, Andrew Gottfried (2015, Coral Springs, FL), led the Elite Squad with a RBI double to lead the Elite Squad. Robert Montes (2015, Miami, FL) helped with a double and a run.

Chandler Baseball World used great pitching to defeat the DBacks Elite Scout Team 2-1.

Oregon commit 2015 Brandon Perez (Mater Dei, CA) went 1-3 with a double for Chandler and Loyola Marymount commit 2015 Devin Davis (Valencia, CA) went 1-3 with a RBI and a double as well.



North Carolina commit 2015 Kyle Datres (Loyalsock Twp, PA) pitched 6 innings for Chandler, allowing 3 hits and 1 run with 8 strikeouts. His fastball peaked at 89mph. Datres showed good follow through, smooth delivery, good hip rotation and sound mechanics. He throws easy, works fast and knows how to pitch. Another North Carolina commit, 2015 Brendan Illies (Puyallup, WA) pitched 1 inning, allowing 1 hit and no runs while peaking his fastball at 83mph. Illies showed good follow through, a quick arm, online delivery, and an aggressive FB.



For the DBacks, Arizona State commit 2015 Jeremy McCuin (Perry, AZ) went 1-3 with a RBI and a double. 2015 Tyler Watson (Perry, AZ) pitched 6 innings, striking out 8 batters and peaking his fastball at 88mph. Watson showed deceptive delivery, good hit rotation and was around the plate with all pitches.
