East Assogna (2016 C, Cresskill, NJ) is a projectable switch-hitter who showed comfort and feel from both sides of the plate. Showing a similar set up and swing from both sides, Assogna shows steady pull side contact and does it while showing some strength off the barrel.
Chris Rinaldi (2016 SS, Westfield, NJ) uses his strength well to produce hard jump off the barrel from the right side. Generating very solid bat speed, Rinaldi created consistent contact while employing quick hands which allow the barrel to get to the ball quickly in the zone.
Liam Hibbits (2016 1B, New York, NY) did a nice job of generating extension out in front of his swing with solid bat speed. His swing path is fluid and though he already shows solid power in his swing he projects for more as he shows nice leverage in his lefthanded swing.
Michael Farinelli (2017 RHP, New York, NY) uses quick hands in his righthanded to create loud contact to his pull side. He got the barrel to the ball consistently and produced some hard line drive contact to all fields.
Erikson Nichols (2016 SS, Oradell, NJ) is a strong righthanded batter who uses an easy swing to generate strength to his pull side. With a short path to the ball, Nichols is able to create solid jump of the barrel with nice carry.
Ryan Zwier (2016 C, Newark, DE) is a strong 6-foot-2 righthanded bat who generates lift in his swing at contact with the ball. He repeats his swing well and consistently gets the barrel though the zone, creating solid line drive contact to his pull side.
Quentin Holmes (2017 OF, East Elmhurst, NY) continued to impress after running a 6.39 60-yard dash. With a long and projectable build, Holmes shows present strength with big jump off the barrel to his pull side with more power coming in the near future.
Ryan Dorneo (2018 1B, Springfield, NJ) creates big bat speed from the left side and goes to the plate looking to attack the baseball. With leverage in his swing, Domeo creates hard contact off the barrel with carry to his pull side while backs pinning the ball.
Matthew Yard (2017 RHP, Wall, NJ) showed a short and compact swing while being able to show power to the opposite field gap. With a lean, projectable 6-foot-5 frame, Yard generates nice lift at contact in his swing.
Evan Matthews (2018 OF, Philadelphia, PA) shows a short and quick path to the ball allowing him to get the barrel through the zone quickly. Staying balanced through his swing, Matthews shows fluidity in his swing and repeats it well.
Bryce Ramsay (2016 C, Barkhamsted, CT) created some of the louder contact of the entire batting practice session showing big bat speed from the right side. He creates extension and separation in his swing with big, loud jump off the barrel.
Anthony DeRosa (2017 3B, Little Silver, NJ) shows a simple set of swing mechanics that allow him to get the barrel to the ball well. DeRosa shows a feel to hit to all fields and repeats his swing well.
Eric Santiago (2016 SS, Bethlehem, PA) is an athletic 6-foot-1 middle infielder who shows quick hands coming through the zone. With a short path to the ball, Santiago created line drive contact to all fields with extension in his swing.
Banks Northington (2016 1B, Charlottesville, VA) showed off his lefthanded swinging hitting one of only two homeruns during batting practice. Showing solid bat speed, Northington shows carry to his pull side with life off the barrel.
Robert Giovanelli (2017 SS, Manhasset, NY) sees the ball well in the box while showing a nice feel for the barrel. With a line drive swing, Giovanelli creates consistent contact to the middle of the field.
David LaManna (2017 C, Saddle River, NJ) impressed with the bat after showing well behind the plate in drills. With quick hands, LaManna stays short to the ball with a consistent feel for the barrel creating line drive contact to his pull side.
Jack Schnell (2017 OF, Suffern, NY) shows nice rhythm and strength in his lefthanded swing. Showing quick hands and barrel to the ball, Schnell looks to lift the ball and shows carry to his pull side.
Kyle Johnson (2017 OF, Rockville, MD) had one of the better rounds of the event and still projects very well moving forward. Showing natural lift in his righthanded bat, the ball comes off the barrel well as Johnson creates solid extension at contact.
CJ Lopez (2016 SS, East Stroudsburg, PA) shows quick hands and a quick barrel in his swing. Showing a nice feel for the barrel, Lopez generates some carry to pull side with a long and fluid swing path.
Carlos Morales (2017 2B, Woodland Park, NJ), like Lopez above, shows quick hands in his lefthanded swing. With nice extension out front, Morales is able to keep the barrel in the zone and get it to the ball.
Tyler Hickey (2016 RHP, Bel Air, MD) shows a calm and under control swing from the right side. Using his 6-foot-7 frame well to create lift and extension out front Hickey projects well as he is able to repeat his swing nicely.
A.J. DiFillipo (2016 3B, Peabody, MA) starts with a high handset but is able to stay short and quick to the ball. A lefthanded hitter, DiFillipo hit the only homerun during the first batting practice session while showing consistent line drive contact to his pull side with interesting bat speed as well.
Perry Cozzone (2016 OF, West Chester, PA) generates lift in his swing while staying balanced throughout. With a short path to the ball, Cozzone shows bat speed coming through the zone with consistent pull side contact.
Davis Gallagher (2018 C, Warwick, NY) shows a fluid bat path and projects for even more with added strength. His hands are quick to the ball and he shows strength to his pull side with lift while getting his hips through the zone.
Connor Coyle (2016 OF, Sparta, NJ) shows quick hands in on the ball while creating nice jump off of the barrel. With a feel to his to the middle and pull side parts of the field, Coyle is able to remain short and quick to the ball.
Brandon Neeck (2018 LHP, Chappaqua, NY) keeps his hands close throughout his swing and shows a nice feel for the barrel. With carry to the middle and pull side parts of the field, Neeck does a nice job of getting the barrel consistently to the ball.
Ivan Rivera (2016 SS, Brooklyn, NY) creates some separation in his swing showing solid jump to the pull side part of the field with both quick hands and a quick barrel.
Henry Davis (2018 C, Bedford, NY) impressed during the drills portion both in the outfield and behind the plate showing athleticism and arm strength. With the bat Davis shows a short path with solid barrel feel and quick hands. He projects well and looks to lift.
Joe Norton (2016 C, Cranford, NJ) keeps his hands in on his swing while staying short and quick to the ball. With consistent barrel, Norton creates line drive contact to his pull side and up the middle.
Colby Shimmel (2016 RHP, Windsor, PA) shows a fluid swing with power and lift to all fields. Creating both extension and separation in his swing, Shimmel creates loud contact to his pull side.
Tyler Mandel (2017 3B, Scarsdale, NY) is a strong 5-foot-11 righthanded batter and shows a short and fast path to the ball with solid bat speed. With an aggressive approach Mandel shows big power with hard line drive contact.
Michael Chuisano (2016 C, Middletown, NJ) shows solid carry to centerfield as he uses his well built 6-foot-2 frame with an easy swing that resulted in solid contact off the barrel.
Austin Markmann (2016 3B, Red Bank, NJ) shows quick hands, resulting in a quick bat with solid feel for creating contact. Showing balance in his swing, Markmann is able to create carry and jump when squared.
Ian Schever (2016 LHP, Lincroft, NJ) stays quick to the ball with nice jump off the barrel when he gets fully extended in his swing. With a short path to the ball, Schever looks to lift while using his strong frame.
