The following players stood out during the National Underclass South Batting Practice for the Black and Cardinal Team.

Dalton Davies (2016 C, Fort Worth, TX) has a short line drive swing plane with mid field approach. Does a good job staying inside baseball

Nicholas Dayton (2016 1B, Wylie, TX) Took a solid round of batting practice hitting line drives to all fields, ball carried well off barrel.

Caleb Thompson (2017 OF, Houston, TX) has a lean projectable build. Has good hand quickness and showed good gap to gap power potential.

Tristan Alkis (2016 2B, Austin, TX) has a solid build with thick lower half, showed power with home run and some lift in his swing. Was short and quick to ball.

Kyle Finkenstaedt (2015 SS, Houston, TX) showed good bat speed from both sides of the plate, has good extension through baseball

Hector Mosquea (2015 3B, Bronx, NY) has a short line drive swing plane with raw power potential

Weston Brown (2015 RHP, Cypress, TX) has an aggressive swing plane with lift, showed good power potential with a home run.

Elijah MacNamee (2015 OF, Cypress, TX) has a short line drive swing with good extension. Solid pull approach and good contact.
